The healthcare sector is composed of different aspects that determine the progress and
development of the services. The medical infrastructure composes of factors that usually focus
on the effective operations conducted during procedures, administration and division of labor.
Amongst all these, the hospital Information technology plays the major role in ensuring that the
care givers and patients are comfortable in their day to day activities. In a partnership between
USACS and the Carolinas Healthcare system (CHS), the main aim is to improve the experiences
of both the patients and physicians through proper operations. IT applies in different
departments of a medical institution including record keeping, administration, hospital
machinery and recovery programs.
The best way to ensure for the effective running of activities at CSH IS to involve technological
operations (Bongar, Sullivan & James, 2017). Failures in administrations come as a result of
confusion and inability to organize the team in performing their daily operations. A disorganized
group makes it impossible to divide the duties amongst the individuals involved and hence might
lead to low productivity (Bongar, Sullivan & James, 2017). Technology helps in the planning of
the staff members, their duties and strategies that might influence the normal running of the
institution. CHS ensures that healthcare is efficient by suggesting the solutions to regular
challenges (Rasmussen, 2013).
Record keeping is another activity that needs IT because of the number of clients moving in and
out of the hospital. Carolina healthcare can only take care of their patients is there are good
records involving their wards, operation dates, details about their conditions and the doctors
involved. When the hospital has all the details concerning a patient, then they can do a better job
of ensuring that they give the best care and a close observation which facilitates to healing

easily accessible in the cloud and save them a lot of time when searching for client’s
information.
The medical instruments and machinery have experienced the most innovation in terms of
technology. Earlier on, hospitals and medical centers used outdated equipments that resulted to
low quality outputs in the procedures. However with the modern technologies, doctors are sure
of giving the best services to their patients. The machines are designed in such a way that they
can handle any medical condition and guarantee a great outcome (Buntin et al., 2011). IT has
played a great purpose in dealing with severe medical conditions that have been the leading
cause of mortality in the past. Involvements with USACS have ensured that doctors at CHS are
qualified to use these machineries for the benefit of their patient’s health. Cancer screening
services are available to the public at an affordable price and the future in the health sector looks
bright due to all these inventions.
Once the medical operations and treatments are done, patients are put under a recovery model
that is aimed at ensuring that they regain their normal status. Technology has facilitated greatly
in the healing process by giving therapy and video services that are aimed at making everything
as smooth as possible (Bhattacherjee & Hikmet, 2008). Although the nurses are available, the
best way to deal with these cases is to expose the clients to a televised curriculum that can
directly communicate to them. IT is therefore the best performing pilot in the health sector
