INTRODUCTION
 Usage of internet is increasing nowadays a lot within individuals and business, it is a
simple system through which everyone can connect and communicate with each other
easily.
 Also usage of social media is also increasing for both individuals and business through
which they can communicate with each other and remain in touch with each other.
 In this presentation different types of computers will be discussed, then importance of
internet for both individual and business will be discussed and at last business
transformation through social media will be discussed.

Classification Of Computers
Computers can be classified on the basis of their size and in general.
General classification of computers:
 Analogue Computers: These type of computers uses continuous physical phenomena like
mechanical, electrical quantities to solve a bigger problem.
Example: Deltar
 Digital Computers: These type of computers perform logical operations and calculations
using digital or binary number system.
Example: Smartphones.
 Hybrid Computers: These type of computers are a combination of analogue and hybrid
computers which are capable of inputting and outputting both the type of signals.

 These are the most powerful, fastest and costliest type of computers which are used to do
immensely large amount of calculations like for weather forecasting.

 These are also large and expensive computers used to do thousands of calculations.

 These are mid sized computers smaller than mainframe computers.
 These are more expensive then desktop computers.

 Micro computers: They are further divided into three categories such as:
 Desktop Computers: micro mini computers sufficient to fit a desk used by individual persons
 Laptop Computers: Portable computers with integrated keyboard, mouse and screen. Can be
carried anywhere.
 Palmtop Computers: Hand sized computers with no keyboard but screen and can be used as
input and output devices.
 Example: Mobiles, tablets, ipads.

Internet Importance For Individual And In Business
Context
 Importance of internet for individual
 Internet is important for individuals as it provides directions, maps to the individual within
few seconds.
 It also helps individual to find location of any place like hotels, restaurants and may more and
can also share there location with another person.
 Internet also helps everyone to connect with each other weather it is through social media, e-
mails or through any other platform.

to wish them through chats, text, audio and videos etc.
