Computer Network is a type of network which is used to transfer data or information
from one computer to another. To connect two or more computers a network is used that may
be LAN, MAN, WAN, and PAN. The network system may be wired or wireless, a wireless
system is an advanced technology of wired. The main advantage of the wireless system is that
it can be used for long-distance communication.
Computer Network Component
1. Network architecture-
The network architecture is a type of networks which is consists of the software,
hardware, protocols, and transmission medium such as wired and wireless.
1.1 There are four types of networks use for communication such as LAN, WAN, PAN,
and MAN. LAN is a local area network which is used for a particular area; WAN is a
wide area network which is used for a wide range of application. MAN is a metro area
network which is used for a particular city. For small area, LAN is used because LAN
is a local area network that provides communication between two devices in a
particular area. The main advantage of LAN is that it is a very fast communication
network to transfer data from one location to another. Therefore, to design a computer
network in a particular area or location LAN is a best networks system (Sadiku,
2018).
1.2 To design a three computer network for any office or store Client/Server can be used
because to control all network one server is required to manage all other networks.
According to the situation, one server is used for a management team, and the other is
used to control other computers.
2. Transmission media-

Transmission media is defined as a medium which is used to transfer information or
data from one location to another. There are two types of transmission media are used
such as wired, and wireless. Both types of transmission media can be used in
communication network but wireless is an advanced technology that provides a more
efficient output as compared to a wired network. The main disadvantage of wired
networks is that it cannot be used for long-distance communication, so to avoid this
type of problem wireless communication system can be used.
2.1 For communication between two or more networks and devices, a communication
system is required, so there are two types of a communication system are used such as
wired and wireless system. The wireless system is an advanced technology of wire
which is used as a transmission medium.
A wireless network is best to transfer data from one location to other because the
main advantage of wireless is it can be used for long distance and it is low power
consumption technology. There are many advantages of a wireless communication
system such as network security, faster speed, improve mobility, improve
productivity, provide hotspot system, and more effective as compared to a wired
network (Zheng, Peterson, Davie, & Farrel, 2009).
There are many drawbacks of a wireless network such as costly, less security,
complex to design, and slower as compare to a wired network.
3. Network hardware-
It is defined as network devices which are required for communication between two
computer devices. It includes routers, wireless access points, data cables, switches,
and proxy servers.
3.1 there are the following hardware are used to design a network system-

3.3 These hardware networks are sufficient to design any network system for the store
because for wireless network Wi-Fi is best for connectivity, Dell computers can be
used as a system because it provides best computer or laptop in low price with a good
specification. Many companies are using these networks, computers, and network
protocols to improve efficiency and productivity.
4. Network security-

Networks security is an important part of any computer device, to protect your data or
information many security systems are used such as Antivirus, malware, and spams
filtering.
4.1 For security purpose following software can be used-
Antivirus, malware protection, farewell intrusion prevention, or spams filtering. For
backup cloud computing can be used to transfer data into Google account.
4.2 Another hardware network like data center can be used because the data center
provides backup power supply, a communication connection, and security. A data
center is an advanced technology to provide a backup plan of a power supply and it
can be used as a security system for computer networks.
A Proxy server can be used for computer network because it provides an indirect
connection between two networks. There are many types of proxy servers such as web
proxies, access to the World Wide Web, and for IP address blocking.
Conclusion
A Network is an advanced technology to transfer data from one computer to another,
it consists of some network like LAN, MAN, and WAN, for a particular area LAN can be
used. For data transmission wireless system can be used because it can transfer data for long
distance.
