The Project upon which the company is working upon is I-Crop which is basically developed by
the company Virtucon on demand of Globex Company. The software would help the farmers of
the Globex Company to attract the dealers and would help to provide ease in doing the payment
to dealers and also the farmers. It would help the farmers of the Globex Company to replace the
manual transaction system and would help the company to provide the transaction through an
automatic method (Bambao, 2016). It would not only help the company to provide an easy
method of money transaction but would also help the company to promote itself at the global
level. It would help to keep the record of the confidential information of the company safe and
secure with the help the software provided by the Virtucon Company. It would help all the
medium as well as small industry an effective manner to provide easy transaction method.

The software of the Globex Corp is the I-Corp Software which would help the company to
execute its primary function that is to provide mode of transaction which would the farmers of
the company to receive the money from the dealers of the company more easily. It would help
the company to do the transaction of the money nationally and internationally both. It would also
help the manager of the company to keep the confidential data of the company securely in order
to preserve it from any kind of theft. It would also help the company to keep the details regarding
the customers and the dealers of the company. The Measurable Organisational Value would help
the company to describe the various impact of the software over the company and its daily
functions. It would help the company to improve the efficiency of the work and would help to
improve the productivity and growth of the company (Rawi, 2013). It would also facilitate the
company to provide the increased number of customers and would also help the company to
attract the more number of deals which increase profit index of the company. It would also the
company to expand the business internationally. It would also improve the profit margin of all
the stakeholders that are involve within the business and would help the company enhance its
position in the market. The software would also help the company to achieve the quantitative

Part Two: Scope
Scope:
Globex Corp is a famous enterprise that is dealing in farming industry and manufacture farms
related products and services. The company is not able to do international transactions with the
large multinational companies. In addition to this, they are not able to communicate with some
powerful dealers who are working at global level due to inefficient and outdated software.
Therefore, Globex Corp wants to develop an application through which they can take payments
from their clients through an online mode since they are facing issues in taking payments from
them (Chamberlain, 2016). In addition to this, they are also facing problems in communicating
with their customers also. Therefore, they decided to consult with Virtucon Company as this is
IT based firm. This will help Globex Corp in making an application or software known as ‘I-
CROP’. This software will help the venture in managing various activities like transferring of
revenue, communication, budgeting, reporting and many more. The features provided by I-
CROP are following:
 By using this software, customers of Globex Corp will become able to pay all of their
bills through online mode.
 All the bills will be paid on a timely fashion, thus no borrowing system will be work after
the introduction of this app.
 The company will also communicate with each and every client in an effective manner by
using this application.
 The software will be user-friendly, thus this can be easily handled and used by the
customers.
 This software will offer the company a golden chance to improve their goodwill in the
global market place.
 This application would allow corporation in storing the personal information of their
clients in a very safe and secure manner.

In Scope and Out Scope
In Scope Items
For the creation of I-Crop software, some In Scope items will be needed which are highlighted
below:
 The computer would be used since the work of developing app can be performed on that
in an effective manner. The laptop can be used for a similar purpose as this should be
preferred since it is very easy to take away even at the time of traveling. For example, if
developers of the app have to travel due to an emergency, then the work of app
development would not be stopped as workers can carry laptops along with them and
would continue the chore of software development.
 The printer has to be available at the working site as some urgent papers have to be
printed any time. For example, developers have to print the certain document for taking
permission from senior managers (Chapman and Ward, 2011). Thus, developers have to
make sure that printers should be present at their workplace.
 Pen drives also should be present at work situation where the work of software
development has been carried on. The pen drive will help in transferring files from one
computer to another or from laptops to the computer.
 Some other item that should be present is mobile phones as this will help in contacting
and communicating with other important persons like managers, colleagues, senior
management, etc.
 Internet connectivity has to be available at the working site since without this nothing can

project. This will provide all the information and facts associated with the project without
that the project cannot be started (Harrison and Lock, 2017).
 The database has to be present since all the information related to the employees,
customers and other persons would be stored in that place.
 A product baseline has to be developed that is an approved version of the work product.
This includes aspects related to the cost, schedule, and scope.
How the scope will be managed?
The Scope of the project can be managed effectively by sharing the basic needs of the software
development to the senior management. The In Scope Items including internet connectivity,
computer, etc. can be managed from the side of the corporation. Apart from this, some Out
Scope Items like a database, project baseline, project charter should also be arranged by the
Virtucon Company so that work of development can be carried on and completed in easy
manner. Besides this, some of the items like laptop, mobile phones, pen drive, etc. can be
accessed through the developer by itself.

This is obvious that some resources are needed for creating any software. Similar to that, the
development of I-Crop software also requires some important resources which are mentioned

creation of software named as ‘I-Crop’. Workers or developers of the app are considered

 Other: Virtucon Company should offer another facility of training and
development to the developers so that they can become successful in creating
appropriate and user-friendly software.
