This project is basically aimed to provide convenience to the customers regarding buying
and selling of crops. Instead of physical marketplace, the company has proposed to develop
an online marketplace named iCrop where the customers will be able to sell and buy crops
through a website or a dedicated mobile application using just a device and an internet
connection. This system will be faster and much more convenient for the customers. Hence,
the main desired values for the project are better and faster.
Step 3: Identify the Metrics
The project will be completed in 164 days and will require an estimated budget amount of
$827,240. With the expected return on investment, this invested amount will be completely
recovered within next one year along with the accumulation of profits.
Step 5: Agree with the Sponsor
The project requires funding from a sponsor who is willing to invest in the project
considering the future opportunities including cost benefit. Terms should be agreed with

the sponsor in order to maintain clarity during the entire project. Furthermore, suitable
plan should be developed such that the sponsor receives fair share of the revenues
generated from the website as well as the mobile application.
Step 6: Summarise in a Clear Concise Statement
In short, the MOV of this project is to achieve more customer support and popularity
through the proposed online marketplace services along with a high margin of cost benefit
after the system is rolled out for the customers to use.

The primary functional scope items of the project include the website and the mobile
application using which, the farm managers can buy and sell crops.
3 Project Delivery Scope Items
The delivery scope items are formulation and development of project charter, delivery of
project budget, design of the system architecture, development of the website,
development of the mobile application, testing of the website and the application and
documentation of the project.

4 Scope Management Plan
A suitable scope plan is required to balance the project within the limits of the deliverables.
Since the scope of the project has significant impact on the time and cost of the project, it
is important to create a balance among the three so that the project remains within the
scope, is finished within a reasonable time and experienced reasonable expenses.

Facilities will be provided to the team members for accommodation during the entire
execution phase of the project. In addition, two separate rooms will be provided. One room
will be provided for the purpose of workshop and project room where the computer
workstations will be provided. Another room will be used for team meeting purposes.

During the preparation of the project plan, the following assumptions have been made.
