2.3.2 Project purpose
The project purpose is referred as the actual aim of the project. Here the actual project
is construct the building where the students can get the facilities from the university campus
(Kerzner, 2017). Within the university, there was not have proper dining café and also other
facilities including medical help as well as movies or recreation etc. For that, they are bound
to go at the outside for searching their native foods. To solve this issue, it requires to
construct a building where the students can get all of the facilities inside the university
campus. The project is going on the construction of the Kitchen which will open for 24 hours
to provide the proper food service to the students (Meredith, Mantel Jr & Shafer, 2017). The
kitchen will construct for almost 500 students and there requires to conduct a survey where
the student can find their native dishes.
Project goals
The goal of the project is to provide the good quality food so that the student can get
their native food. However, in this university, the students come from various countries and
for that they have different native foods. Due to this variation, there should conduct a survey
by which it can understand about their native foods. Moreover, the charges of the facilities do
not have any charges because all the charges should include in the annual residential charge.
The dining café should offer the foods with minimum charges to the students.
2.3.3 Project scope
The scope of the project is considered as project deliverables that is related with all of
the detailed information of project (Heagney, 2016). The project will relate with the
construction of the kitchen or a building where the students can get all the facilities from the
inside of the university campus. It needs to construct the project of the construction of kitchen
within the proper timing so that the students can get the facilities within the time. The kitchen

should contain so many dishes which are native for the students. Moreover, it must maintain
the proper hygiene in the kitchen for health purpose of the university students. However, it
requires to implement a tracking system which track the entry or exit time of the students
(Fleming & Koppelman, 2016). The campus should arrange a survey where the student can
select their native dishes for creating the menu card of the hostel dining café.
2.3.4 Out of Scope
According to the project scope, there exists some of the boundaries which are
considered as out of scope. The out of scope contains that there is no persons allowed in this
dining café from the outside of the university. Only university students can allow to enter this
dining café (Walker, 2015). Moreover, outside foods are not allowed in this dining café.
Moreover, there will not have any chance of occurrence of financial exchange.

2.4.1 List of stakeholders
In this project, the major stakeholders who engage with this project are as follows:

responsible to arrange meeting or other communication methods.

2.4.3 Communication process example
The email is the effective communication way for the project sponsor. The head of the team

2.4.4 Comment on communication process
According to the communication process, this emailing of the communication is more
effective and better. Project meetings will conduct every week which is more effective for the
project (Too & Weaver, 2014). The bonding of project sponsor with project manager depends
on the method of communication. Through weekly meeting, the project manager can
communicate with the team.
2.4.5 Comment of statement submitting to previous company
In the case of previous company, the communication process is poor and there exists
many flaws within the communication process. The executives are not passed the information
properly and for that there occurs a break in communication process.
2.4.10 Change management
According to this management, the students are the first priority for the dining café
and due to construct this dining café, the students are more beneficial and change their life
style (Joslin & Müller, 2015). However, they are easily get their native foods. Moreover, they
are getting their foods within 24 hours. In addition to this, the suppliers get their permanent
business to build up the financial strong.

2.5.1 Case reflection
As per this project, the project is based on the construction of kitchen in university
campus in order to provide the proper food service to the students. To conduct the project
successfully, the project supervisor is referred as the lead of project and he is responsible for
all the project. In that case, the communication is effective way in order to success the
project. For effective communication, the project director desires to arrange the weekly
meeting.
