Introduction
This project is based on the assessment two which is based on the Virtucon
and Globexcompanies’ scenario. A team charter is the core factor on which
this whole assessment is based. Team charter contains a huge significance
to develop and implement a project in the appropriate manner. The Virtucon
is the software development company which is hired by Globex Corporation
to develop a program named SCOROfor communication and money transfer
by the clients to the company. The current assessment is focused on the
project planning for effective implementation of the project. In the first
measurable organizational value will be defined in the current assessment
which will help to produce more valuable software for the organization. After
MOV the assessment will focus on the scope of the project and scope
management plan which will help to retain the project in the right direction.
Work breakdown is significant to use in the project to break down the
responsibilities among the people involved in the project. The work
breakdown structure will be developed for breaking down the project in the
different activities with the specific date schedules. Project risk will be
identified in the next in this assessmentto develop an appropriate risk
assessment plan. After its quality management plan will be developed for
SCORO and at last the entire plan will be evaluated.

Part One
Measurable Organizational Value (MOV)
It is an alternate term used against Return on Investment (ROI). It is used to
measure the success and growth of the overall project (Nordmeyer, 2017).
Identification of the desired area of impact
Area of Impact on the basis of the ranking is as follows:
1) Strategy: The strategic field is considered to be given less priority as
Virtucon and Globex are not entering into the new market. Globex aims
to have developed software so as to have direct contact with its clients
and provide them a better quality product with improved payment
facilities as they can make online payments for the products provided
by Globex (Chang, 2016).
2) Customer: Using the software, Globex can provide its customers with
various facilities such as facility of communication, facility of making
payments online, etc. The software helps customers to communicate
with the management team of the Globex in case of any query, or
issue regarding the product.
3) Financial: Finance is an important factor as without funds Globex will
not be able to contract with Virtucon for making of the software.
Finance is necessary for making the payment to the software
development company for developing of the software. Using the
software, the company can improve its financial processes.
4) Operational: The software developed by the Virtucon is automatic
and hence there is very less chance of occurring of the errors. Also,
using the software, customers can be easily managed and the facilities
provided by the software attract more customers and aids in
increasing sales of the Globex. Online payment is the facility which
attracts more customers and increases the productivity of the Globex.
6

5) Social: Software is used to maintain the social accounts which aid in
posting advertisements, and publicizing of the products which attract
more customers and increases sales of the company. It helps in
providing information to customers about the new products and
increases sales.
Identification of the values
1) Better- The software is useful in better communication of the
customers with the company. The operations of the company improve
with the development of the software as it aids in attracting more
customers because of the facility of online payment.
2) Faster:Globex aims to improve the communication system with its
customers so it has developed the software for the same. And in order
to have a faster payment from its customers, the software is also
useful in making online payments. The Globex aims to increase its
productivity and sales and thus developed the software for faster
payments and improved products.
Development an appropriate metric
Targets: In order to develop the software, several things are to be targeted
such as:
1) The software shall consist of QR code so that customers can scan it
and make online payments.
2) The software shall include mode of communication of the company
with its clients or customers.
3) The software shall provide details like product bought, date of
purchase, the price at which products were purchased, etc (Lee, 2010).
Expectations of the stakeholders: It predicts the shareholders'
expectations from the operations, the profitability of the company.
Stakeholders' play a major role in decision- making the process of the

company and takes all the major decisions with the support of top
executives.

1) Business analyst: The stakeholders expect to have proper and two-
way communication with the Globex and Virtucon.
2) Virtucon Committee: The general public and customers can be
managed and organized at peak time.
3) Project manager: The expectation is to have positive coordination of
Globex with the Virtucon regarding software development.
4) Web Developer: There will be optimum availability of the resources
when required.
5) System analyst: The problems faced by the Virtucon will be
discussed in detail.
6) Globex organization: The stakeholders will have access to the
revenues or profits generated.
7) System architect: The resources shall be available during the time of
need.
8) Computer technician: It is expected to have a proper corporation
from VirtuconCompany.
9) Visitors: It is expected by the stakeholders that payments will be
made online and it will attract a number of customers.
Quantitative Target: This consists of the following:
1) It is expected to have an increased profit in the Globexcompany of
approximately 79% in 5 months.
2) It is also expected to have an increased customer retention ratio by 87
%.
3) 89% of the customers can be controlled and managed easily using the
software.

4) There will be maximization in the return on investment, and return of
interest up to 7.6% in 4 months (Pan, 2018).

help in improved communication process through which customers can
communicate with the company in case of an issue. The software was also
developed to provide an online payment facility to the customers of Globex.

Part Two
Scope
Globex Corp is facing issues in communicating with their clients, thus they
want to develop software that helps them in interacting with customers in
better manner. In addition to this, they also need a platform of software
where their customers can pay the money in very less interval of time. For
both of the demands, they are taking help of Virtuconcompany since this
venture is making an application known as ‘SCORE’ that can help the Globex
Corp in managing different activities like budgeting, reporting, transferring of
money, communication and so forth. This software will support them in
improving the current level of communication and management within the
firm. SCORE will help the corporation offering following features and
facilities:
With the help of this system, clients of Globex Corp will easily pay the
bills.
The communication or interaction activity will also get positively
affected since the level of communication would be improved
effectively.
Bills will be paid on time and no borrowing system will then work.
The software would be user-friendly since it is very easy to handle and
use.
In Scope and Out Scope
In Scope items
For the development of ‘SCORE’, following In Scope items are used:
11
Document Page
Computers will be used since the software will be run on such
computers. The implementation of the software will be impossible
without the help of computers.
Pen drive should also be available since this will help in transferring
files related to the software in the computer or laptop (Harrison and
Lock, 2017).
Laptop is also essential as it is comfortable to use even while traveling.
If developers need to travel due to an emergency, then they can take
laptop along with them so that work of the development of the
application cannot be stopped.
Mobile phone is another item that must be available at the working site
since this would help in communicating with other worker in case of
any need.
Printer should be present at workplace since it will help in taking print
out of important documents that would be used in future.
Internet connection has to be present at work station as without that
the work of developing software will not be carried on. Thus, this must
be available at workplace.
Out Scope Items
Some Out Scope Items that will be used while developing the application
known as ‘SCORE’ are following:
Database should be needed to store essential information about the
workers, customers and other details.
Project charter should be considered in out scope item since this is a
term of reference that commonly defines a project. This offers all the
data that is needed to start a project (Chamberlain, 2016).
Project Baseline should be created which is nothing but an approved
version of a work product that involves aspects related to scope, cost
and schedule.
