process which is needed for information collection of the customer. It is mainly done for
collection of information about the customers along with understanding their purchasing trend.
The report is all about evaluation of how Amazon can make use of Management Information
System (MIS) for attaining competitive advantage. It can be done through proper management
and gathering of information. In the coming pages, the features of MIS have been highlighted in
Amazon that is initiation of user till the payment delivery mode. The last part of the report deals

acquisition. Overall uniqueness of MIS has been highlighted in the report along with
understanding technology, process and various system in Amazon (Noe et al., 2017). It is being
in use right from the initiation phase of the project until the payment and delivery model that is
being selected. Management Information System (MIS) can help Amazon in integrating effective
and efficient way for bringing out strategy between the effective way from bringing out
interaction between people and information system (Wager, Lee & Glaser, 2017). MIS can easily
facilitate management decision at both the level of the organization is Strategic and Operational.
In this situation, amazon can highlight the alignment of information system with overall strategy
of Amazon. The organization is considered to be fine for tuning the E-strategy by keeping the
website upgraded from the older one.

play an important role in overall development of Amazon. The organization can make use of
MIS like a vibrant tool which is needed for diversifying the overall management activities. It
merely highlights the fact that the customer can be offered proper services with the help of MIS.
In the method of data collection and integration of data, there is a need for proper function for
organization role of ERP which is very much important. The biggest plus point of ERP system is
all about the ability to easy integration of external and internal information process within the
organization. With the increase in the overall number of E-commerce, there is a need for changes
which can result in outcome for the software use (Kantor & Streitfeld, 2015). Software
configuration management tool is known to be important method of controlling the overall
evaluation and life cycle of project. CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management is
considered to be growing trend among all the major e-commerce organization. CRM can help in
proper streamline of information towards technical help along with offering services to
customers. The overall success of implementation can reflect on effectiveness and completely
efficiency with Amazon. It is all about maximizing the effort of data collection that is all about
interaction in Amazon.
