System Analysis and Design Project: Amazon Functional Requirements

This project undertakes a system analysis and design of Amazon, an online retail platform, focusing on documenting its functional requirements using UML diagrams. The assignment is structured into three subsystems: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), Customer Support and Return, and Warehouse operations. Each subsystem includes a stakeholder analysis, brief use case descriptions, use case diagrams, and class diagrams to illustrate the system's functionalities and components. The FBA section details the roles of sellers, resellers, and Amazon itself, outlining use cases such as signing up, product preparation, and labeling. The Customer Support and Return subsystem explores customer interactions, including making calls, entering invoice numbers, and issue resolution processes. The Warehouse subsystem examines the roles of managers, packers, and the packaging system, with use cases involving staff hiring, cost analysis, and product management within the warehouse. The project aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's operational structure and system design through detailed UML representations and descriptions.
