ITECH2002: Amazon Warehouse System Modeling Project

This assignment models the behavior of an Amazon warehouse system, specifically focusing on two complex use cases: 'Issue Recall' and 'Create Recall Request'. The solution includes extended use case descriptions, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams to illustrate the system's processes. The assignment also incorporates a prototype of the 'Issue Recall' feature, along with test plans to validate functionality. Stakeholders such as the manufacturer, Amazon warehouse, and FBA reseller are identified. The diagrams and use cases provide a detailed understanding of the system's operations, including the flow of events, alternate flows, and exceptional conditions related to product recalls. The work references established software engineering resources to support its approach and methodology.

Subsystem warehouse
Description of use case issue recall.
Manufacturer identify there is need to recall back products out of market due to default or
producing wrong products .The manufacture contacts Manager for recall .On receiving request
the manager process recall and notify reseller to return product. Reseller then returns product to
amazon warehouse .The manager checks is products are valid and the one manufacturer
produced .After verification is done and manager identifies they are real products Manager
returns to manufacturer.
Description of use case create recall request.
Manager on receiving request of recalling backing products .Manager creates recall back request
by informing Reseller of Manufacturer recall request. Reseller then returns products to manager
then manager forwards products to Manufacturer. Create recall request ends when manufacturer
receives recall products

Prototype

Manufacturer logins in system as manufacturer selects products then click on recall goods
dropdown box to select radio button iPhone s6 then submit the details will be taken to manager
side to view recalled goods and process recall goods.
