Introduction
The below-created report explains the scenario of the online ordering system using the
Amazon sub-system. The report explains the entire scenario by using a suitable diagram such
as Sequence diagram, Activity Diagram as well as the Use-case diagram. These diagrams are
created using the draw.io software and screen design is also built using the invision software.

Task A
1. The system, as well as the sub-systems that are present in the scenario, is related to the
warehouse management system (Chowdhury, A., 2019). It includes the entire scenario of the
ordering of the items through the online application and also the warehouse management
system sets up the proper linking between the customer and the upper management. Shipping
management, Delivery management is also the system which includes the sub-systems such
as Delivery staff, Amazon, retailers, etc.

Actor Customer
Description The Customer gets various options of logging
into the system or if not registered can easily
get registered to the application.
Pre-Condition
Flow
The user must have the proper internet
connection as well as a Smartphone to get
associated with the application.
 Customer sign up to the application.
 After signing in, the customer enters
the credentials to get logged in.
 Customer can easily select the items,
place the order and track the order
placed.
Use Case 2
Actor Investor
Description The Investor also helps in providing the
funds to the organization and this is being
done by signing into the application.
Pre-Condition The user must have the proper internet
connection as well as a Smartphone to get
associated with the application.
Flow  Investor sign up to the application.
 After signing in, the investor enters
the credentials to get logged in.
 An investor can easily select the
investment area and invest

accordingly.
Use Case 3
Actor Staff Members
Description The Staff Member helps in making the
packaging, deliveries as well as solving the
customer queries.
Pre-Condition The staff member must have the proper
knowledge regarding the order booked by the
customers.
Flow  Staff Member signs in to the
application using the credentials.
 Staff Member then performs activities
such as Packaging, managing the
products and solving the customer
activities.

Actor Warehouse Manager
Description The Warehouse Manager manages the entire
link between the customer and the
management.
Pre-Condition The warehouse manager must have proper
information regarding manufacturing.

Flow  The manager checks out the
maintenance.
 Defects are then checked by the
Manager.
 Issues are then sent to the manager.
Use Case 2
Actor Delivery Manager
Description The Delivery Manager takes care of all the
processes of the deliveries that should be
made to the customer.
Pre-Condition The manager must have all the information
regarding the orders made by the customers.
Flow  Checks the shipping of the products.
 Performs the packaging, delivering
and tracking information related to
the items.

Actor Shipping Managers
Description The Shipping Manager keeps the record of
the products being shipped.
Pre-Condition The manager must have all the information
regarding the orders made by the customers.

Flow  Provides the tracking of the items to
the customers.
 Also, the shipping manager labels the
product to be shipped.

The above-made Activity Diagram explains the scenario of Warehouse management. In the
beginning, Maintenance of the warehouse is properly checked so that the communication
between the customer and management doesn’t break down (Shukla et al., 2017). Moving on
the management of the order is shown where the order gets placed by the user, proper
packing is done, delivery is made and at last, if any of the issue related to the product is
encountered then the product gets sent back to the management.
2.2 Sequence Diagram

The above sequence diagram also covers the same scenario as shown in the Activity diagram.
The proper ordering of the products is done by the customers and proper flow of the ordering,
as well as the delivery of the product, is shown in the diagram made above (Mithun, M. and
Jayaraman, S., 2017). All the internal processes in the sequence diagram are shown. Process
of the customer to the delivery staff is properly mentioned.
