Yes, the WBS prepared include everything that were mentioned in the team charter and
the deliverables. The WBS contain certain additional tasks that were needed to be incorporated
to provide a detailed understanding of all the key requirements of the project.

Yes, the WBS prepared contain the necessary project management tasks which include
initiation of the project, planning, documentation, monitoring and project closure.

The top down approach of developing a WBS include writing down the biggest task or
module at first and breaking down the project into further smaller tasks. The WBS has been
prepared using the top down approach

A “product oriented” WBS decomposes the project scope into smaller scope to develop
manageable project units. The “process oriented” WBS defines the processes that are needed to

be considered to deliver the set deliverables of a project. A process oriented WBS is prepared in
this case.

I have used MS project to prepare the WBS. Yes, I had to rearrange certain tasks or later
insert certain tasks. I think if I would have used excel first, I would not have to rework on the
final file.

MS project and learnt the software and directly prepared the WBS on it.
