INTRODUCTION
Human development is concerned as the process of providing opportunities to people in
order to improve their well being and development. Behaviour assessment is referred as the
study of different behaviours of a person in different situations. The current assessment will
explain the lifespan stage of two individuals and explain their development with the help of
psychological theories and the transition or loss which has experienced by an individual with the
help of relevant models.
MAIN BODY
1. Lifespan stage of two individuals from the case study
Peter is in a middle adulthood and may have a negative behaviour towards their family
as he is frustrated by being unemployed for a long period. He may not behave properly with his
family due to these reasons and have many issues with everyone. It has a negative impact over
his children and the relationship between him and his wife may become weak due to these
reasons. The behaviour of Perter may be reflected with the help of the Maslow's hierarchy of
needs theory on the basis of his frustration of not getting selected in the various companies he
has been applying consistently (Ștefan, Popa and Albu, 2020). The basic requirements such as
self esteem, security and income may hamper his mental stability and create several issues in
order to manage his behaviour towards his family. It has created pressure to manage his finances
properly and have been one of the major reasons of his anger and inappropriate behaviour.
Alex is in his middle childhood and have been facing several issues in managing his
studies at the school. With the help of the Piaget's theory of cognitive development the situation
of Alex will be thorough (Babakr, Mohamedamin and Kakamad, 2019). He is of 7 years and in a
pre-operational stage where children may learn the attitudes and behaviours of their parents and
other family members. The behaviour of his father may be reflected in his current situation
where he is struggling to concentrate in the class and may enter into several fights and arguments
within the learning environment. It is difficult for them to cope up with the studies due to the
negative impact that has been due to the fights and shouting he has been experiencing at his
home. The development of Alex may be understood by his reactions towards different aspects,
he has become an aggressive child and needs due consultation for improvement.

2. Individual who has suffered loss in the case study
Jane is the individual in the case study which has experienced loss of her mother due to a
heart attack. She has found difficulties in order to manage the pain after her mothers demise and
have been feeling low after her mother had passed. With the help of the Five stages of grief
model given by Kubler-Ross, the impact of this situation on his mental condition may be
explained (The Five Stages of Grief, 2022). The first stage is denial where she was in a state of
shock and is not able to accept the loss of her mother. She was in anger as several things were
already going in her life than this has also been difficult for her to manage. Jane tries to bargain
his thoughts and tries to evaluate the major reason and what could she have done in order to help
her mother. She was in a state of depression for a period as she has a good connection with her
mother. Jane has tried to control her feelings and tried to console her father who is going through
a difficult phase.
The another model of loss is the dual process model of grieving which may explain that
Jane has been moving back and forth in order to manage her own feeling and her family (Fiore,
2021). As she has two kinds and her father to look after, she might have got less time in order to
grieve at the loss of her mother. The loss orientation may explain her mourning feeling towards
the loss of her mother and the restoration orientation is an aspect which explains that she is
managing her daily roles and objects in order to keep up with her life. It has been difficult for
Jane to help her father to get out of the pain of her wife's loss, and she tries to encourage him in
order to improve his mental condition.
CONCLUSION
According to the above assessment it has been concluded that the family members in the
case study have experienced several changes in their behaviour due to different situations and
aspects. These conditions had a deep impact on their reactions and activities at various places. It
has been difficult for some individuals in order to control their emotions in difficult situations
properly.
