Ma, 2019). He was born on 10th September 1964 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Jack Ma is one
of those person who have stared the digital wallet services in Hong Kong where he had done the
partnership with Li Ka-shing. He has also started his career in Film industry with short movie
called as Gong Shou Dao. Jack Ma is one behind the successful journey of Alibaba Group as he
always come up with some of the great idea so that his company can achieve desire goal easily.

It is never easy for any person to achieve success in there initial stage as different kinds
of problem are required to be faced and the reason behind all those thing is lack of knowledge

problem in his life and it was not easy for his to face all those challenges at a time. The starting
of all this problem starts from the schools day were he was one of that person who failed many
of the exams at a time. Even he was rejected from Harvard for 10 time which is also one of the

to get a better job after giving lots of interview. In the starting days of Alibaba, he was not able
to achieve success because company was suffering from heavy losses for first three years. The

decision in the organisation. Here, company seeks the advices which are helpful for the
betterment of an association. Under this leadership style they tries to provide the best training
season to all the employee's who are working within the organisation. It is helpful because it
bring lots of positivity in the culture of a company through which decision taking is quite
effective (Vance and Sanders, 2015). In additional, Jack Ma though to have proper
communication between top level management and their subordinates which will help to reduce
the gap between company and their worker. Even, it can be said that Participative leadership

only way through which company can achieve its desire goal. And for this all, it is necessary that
leader must know that what are their strength and weakness because that plays the vital role in
any of the decision. Leader must try to find his strength in the beginning so that they can work as
per their strength. In context of Jack Ma, he is one of the most loveable and famous entrepreneur
in current scenario because he tries to backup his strength while taking any of the business
decision and that is the main reason why he is known as giant of e-commerce. Some of the
strength and weakness of Jack Ma are described below:
Strengths
Thinking Creatively: The main strength that Jack have is that he think creatively and
different from other business person. He try to create a frame in which company is
required to work for attaining the goals which have been predetermined. His creative
thinking has always provided additional advantage to Alibaba and that is the reason that
company is very successful in current position (Shamir and Eilam-Shamir, 2018).
Decision Making ability: It is said that decision making ability plays very important role

In early stage of his life, he had faced lot of failure still he didn't stopped to working on
those area where he has already though to work. After the failure, he always try to bring
new idea so that solution can be brought in future.
Weaknesses
Slow Learner: Jack Ma has faced multiple number of failure in his life and the reason
behind that is slow learning. He don't have the ability to catch the things when
comparison is done. Because of this reason his some of the decision takes additional time
due to which other company takes advantage of it.
Multitasking: It is very important that person should have the ability to do multitasking
but some of them do not have that feature and Jack Ma is also among one of them. He do
not have the ability where he can do more then one work at a time and because of that he
