This paper is aimed at describing and justifying the innovation process or idea being used
in the assessment 2 on the same topic. In the assessment 2, two problems were being identified
such as diabetes and obesity. It was being shown that these are really the severe issues which are
causing the huge damages. India in particular was highlighted as a country to have the maximum
cases of diabetes. Obesity was found as another threat which is growing in India. The innovative
idea was presented just to provide a remedial process for controlling the diabetes and obesity
cases. The innovative idea was the manufacturing of flour from Jackfruit. Jackfruit has elements
in it which was felt as suitable to fight the diabetes and obesity in assessment 2. This paper is
particularly aimed at describing the idea generated in the assessment 2 and also justifying the
same.
2. Describing the innovative idea
The idea is to make or manufacture flour form Jackfruit. This was identified as
innovative in assessment 2 due to the following listed benefits of jackfruit (Shafiq et al., 2017):
Jackfruit is believed as a weight loss agent because free of fat and quite low in calories
content which make it an easily consumable fruit. Moreover, all the nutrients can be fully
utilised due to a fact that it can be comfortably and safely consumed.
It is also believed as diabetes friendly as despite being sweet in taste it can absorb sugar
from bloodstream. This states the point for a fact that it can also be consumed by a
diabetic patient.

It is contained with a diverse set of vitamins such as Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin B-

These are the few benefits which does not make it suitable or beneficial only for diabetes and
obesity but also for numerous others like cancer, digestion improver, blood pressure reducer,
