INTRODUCTION
A supply chain is a type of network that includes different individuals which helps in creating a
product for an organisation with help of different resources and technology and also helps in
selling that product to customers. They play an crucial role from delivering the raw materials
from suppliers to manufacturer and then to the customers. Present study is based on the company
Jaguar that is a luxury vehicle brand of Jaguar Land Rover that is a multinational car
manufacturer with head quarter in Whitley, Coventry, England. It was introduced in the year
1935. Report will include key operation, logistics and supply chain management issues faced by
the managers in Jaguar. On basis of these issues report also identify the ways operation functions
and it supports market that it serves. Further it includes the service delivery systems that Jaguar
uses and also the about the infrastructure that managers use in delivery systems. Study is based
on two areas that are:- managing people in operations and supply chains and another is different
logistics mix that will include different channels, networks, transportation, managing inventory
and capacity(Ahi and Searcy, 2015).
