Payroll System

Abstract
The system named “Payroll System” will be designed in the computer language named Java,
the main motive of creating this project is to provide help to the HR of the company as he/she
can easily look after the details of the salaries and the taxes paid to and paid by the employees
respectively. Making this project would make the calculations of taxes and salaries easy. The
Project will be time-saving as well as efficient as it would be less time-consuming in doing
the calculations.
Introduction
The Project made will be highly efficient for the organizations or the businesses that are
working on a small scale. Making this project would help in making the work faster and easy
as time-consumption would be really less. The main role of the project is to reduce efforts
and making work efficient(Garden and Operations, 2019).
Motivation
The main motivation behind making this Project is to reduce the efforts made by HR of the
company or an organization. This Project would help in making the efficient as well the
effective calculations of salaries and taxes. This Project would help in reducing the mistakes
in calculations and provide the employees clear idea about their salaries (Swart, 2002).
System structures
Hardware requirements for the system
 Harddisk has to be of 80 GB RAM: 512 Mb or more.
 The processor has to be Intel i3 5 generation.
Software requirements for the system:
 Web Server used will be phpMyAdmin server
 The database used will be the XAMPP server.
 The language used will be Advanced Java (Java Swing) and for front-end NetBeans 8.0.
Functions
a. The Project made will help in reducing the efforts of HR.
b. Using this Project modification in the Project can be done easily.
c. The Project will also help the employees to have a clear idea about their salaries.
User requirements
Operating System would be the only requirement for this Project and it could be Windows 7,
Windows XP, Windows 8 or Windows 10.

Additional features
a. The Project also facilitates the employees as well as the HR to log in and check the
details about the salaries.
b. Another feature could be the alterations part as it can be easily done.
Inherent complexities and challenges
Inherit Complexities is to design Graphical User Interface for the Project named “Payroll
System” which would include the details of the employee’s salaries and taxes, also the
JDBMS connectivity is the challenge.
