Freshelicious is one of the SMEs in Australia that has been introduced in the market in
2017. The company aims to extract the best quality juices from the freshest exotic fruits and
vegetables and offers the fruit salads, smoothies and other fruits and vegetable meals too. There
are no non-veg options available at the company. The products are free from any artificial
chemicals or substances and has been produced naturally to give the best taste, quality and
freshness. The delicious taste along with health benefits offered through the production of juices
can make the company one of the best juice companies in Australia (Harper & Snowden, 2017).
Vision statement
To become the best juice company that promotes natural food and healthy eating habits in
Australia.
Mission statement
The mission of the company is to become a customer-focused business that manages
natural food and healthy eating habits. Freshelicious’ focus is on extracting the best quality
juices from natural, fresh and raw materials and provides fruit salads, smoothies and meals at a
reasonable price. To maintain 100 percent natural taste and free from any preservations is

food items. Freshelicous aims to offer some more products to quench the thirst of people as well
as fulfill their dietary and healthy requirements (Schlottmann et al., 2017).
Number of staff and position
Freshelicious consists of a full time manager, 2 full time shopkeepers, 10 staffs including
waiters, chefs and 2 other individuals who manages the accounting and financial matters along
with website management to take orders and manage those properly.
Topic 1 Ethics
Ethics is an important concept that involves maintaining the organizational values to
ensure successful business functioning with ease and effectiveness. The values and ethics go
hand in hand and this would help in managing the principles properly as well as govern the
various actions, furthermore make decisions to promote effective team working and
accomplishment of the business goals and objectives. Being a small medium enterprise,
Freshelicious has committed to team working by engaging the total number of employees
together and even maintaining the various principles and standards (Vale, Vale & Han, 2017).

Freshelicious employed certain standards that were needed to be followed by the

ethnicity, religion or culture from which they belonged (Reed, 2017). The management of
uniform treatment, i.e., treating all the employees equally from every aspect could prevent
discrimination within the workplace as well as foster creativity, innovation and team working too
(Shamshiri et al., 2018). Being socially responsible is one of the major aspects that has been
considered by Freshelicious to maintain proper values and ensure successful ethical decision
making too. The company made decisions to inform and train the employees about the unethical
standards that should be prevented. The company did not bribe state legislators for tax related
benefits, which further helped in maintaining the financial ethics. The customers seek value for
money products and Freshelicious has provide a wide range of products including natural
yoghurt, chocolate dipped fruits and protein shakes that are safe and healthy, which can further
help in maintaining the ethical standards properly (Fisher, 2017).
Topic 2 Sustainability
Freshelicious in Australia has supported the local farmers and suppliers to provide them
with the best and freshest quality fruits and vegetables to produce the best quality juices, fruit
salads, smoothies, etc. Freshelicious supported the farmers and provided them with good amount
of money for their supplies, so that they could grow the best quality fruits and vegetables and

of the supply chains and has addressed the issues of sustainability including the working
conditions, soil erosion, climate changes and resilience and inclusion of small holders too. The
small juice company focused on delivering the healthy, delicious and convenient food and juices
that should be made with the use of freshest natural ingredients such as fruits and vegetables.
Since its launch in the year 2018, the company has still focused on the goals to achieve the best
quality and offers freshness to its products offered to the consumers (Schaltegger & Wagner,
2017).
To manage the sustainability measures, the company has recycled and reused the
materials and even promoted the use of green packaging for creating lesser harmful impact on
the environment. This has not only allowed to preserve the ecological balance in nature, but has
also enabled Freshelicious, Australia to gain sustainability and competitive advantage in business
too (Schaltegger & Burritt, 2018). The green production methods have reduced the carbon
emissions and other harmful gases, furthermore achieved the goals and objectives of a
sustainable business with ease and efficiency. Few of the new products of the company include
Hemp and blueberry natural yoghurt, fruit salads and drinks made from Victoria sweet
pomegranate that is wax free (Shamshiri et al., 2018).
