There are primarily two policies that are violated in the incident that has been described. The
first is the non-compliance with the organizational ethical codes and the second is the
discrimination in the organization due to ineffective diversity management.
It is stated in the law that all people are subjected to equal right to work and be involved in
the professional tasks. Anti-Discrimination Act, 1991 is one such act that states the same.
However, the team did not comply with the same as the non-Christian employees were not
invited to the party.
Also, there are some of the ethical and professional codes of conduct that the employees of an
organization must follow. In this case, these ethical codes have been violated with the
violation of the principles as professionalism and professional development.
There are changes in the internal policies that may be done to treat such cases of violation
and non-compliance. The compliance rates shall be synced with the employee appraisal.
Also, the leadership shall utilize the different styles to maintain and manage the diverse
workforce in the organization (English, Manton & Walker, 2011).
The enhanced communication of the techniques and the associated mechanisms will provide
the ability to keep a track of such issues and the management will also be effectively done.

background and race of the employees. Such a case may further lead to increased conflicts

the mechanisms to give unbiased decisions. The use of cross-cultural style of leadership shall

The combination of formal and informal styles will be used and the use of verbal as well as
written communication will be done.
The similar style was also used in the past to treat and resolve the conflicts among the
members of the team. There were conflicts among the employees and the internal
stakeholders which had to be resolved to maintain the project continuity. The resolution of
such conflicts was done using the style stated above (Kastberg, 2017).

Networking plays a significant role in the business environment and it provides the
capabilities to achieve the determined business goals. Networking is essential to develop the
business relations and collaborate with various parties so that the perspectives of the varied
entities and understanding of the industry norms and standards may be obtained. The internal
and external networks shall be developed. The internal networking mechanisms shall include
the interactions with the other departments and resources with extended skill sets. This will
lead to the improvement of the professional knowledge, skills, and capabilities.
The external networks shall also be developed with the business resources, supplier & vendor
groups, and customer groups as well. There are different communication mediums that may
be used to set up these networks. These include social media networks, tele-communication
mediums, business campaigns, and seminars (Macnamara, 2016).
There was a situation wherein there were some of the tools and material required on an urgent
basis to meet the customer needs. In such a situation, the supplier relations and networks
were utilized so that the quick deliveries may be made in order to meet the customer
expectations. There was further strengthening of the network and the relationships with the
supplier after this case and it also enabled the fulfilment of the business goals and objectives.
