The requirement of the software in any industry for the purpose of making the product successful
is considered to be one of the main and important task. Hence this report helps in detailing the
layout of the software that can help in producing and defining the scope of the project in the CPB
contractor’s Pty ltd. This report would help in specifying the different functional and the non-
functional requirements of the software that leads to the development and achievement of goal
for the company (Binder, 2016). This is seen that RSR specifies the suitable workflow plans,
performance metrics and various other elements that can helps in designing the project
management needs of the CPB contractors in Australia and across the globe. Hence the
document is based on the action plan that would help in evaluating the software and making it
according the clients requirements.
Overview
Weconstruct is considered to be the software that CPB contractors is supposed to be using which
is considered to be custom web managed construction software that helps in managing the
construction issues in the company. This helps in mitigating the issues that are encountered by
the company. This is seen that as the company has to provide the 3D image to the clients and
hence for this purpose the software should be flexible to build a project in this case (Gilbert, et.
al., 2015). Also this should showcase the progress report to the client about how the construction
would look like and the future projections of the project would also help in encountering the
issues. Hence the product that is being developed helps the company to achieve the advantage of
getting all the support that they needs from this software such as the integrated project
management software’s. The software would be highly feature loaded where it can also collect
the pictures online through any mode and integrate it into the project that is being developed for
this purpose (Li, et. al., 2015). Also the software would have the special feature where it would
be able to send the notification for any changes that are required on the site and the construction
process immediately if noticed any mistake in the project development.
