INTRODUCTION
Problem solving is very essential aspect of the running of the business in the dynamic
environment. This is pertaining to the fact that there are many changes taking place in the
business environment and these need to be adapted in order to remain competitive in the
business. Hence, for this it is essential for the company to have effective decision making skills
as this will assist the company in taking proper and optimal decision. The current report is based
on case study relating to the ‘Job Dissatisfaction’ faced by UK employees.

Location- if the location that is the area where the person need to go is far away or the
route through which the person goes is not good then the employee will not like going
there. Thus, this will demotivate the person to go to the place of work and this will result

EU countries and this demotivates the employees working in the UK companies. This is

Economic- most of the companies pays less of the salary to the employees and this result
in the dissatisfaction of the employees (Rastogi and Trivedi, 2016). This is pertaining to
the fact that the employees work with efficiency and then in against off that the
employees get less pay then this factor demotivates them and they do not work with
efficiency. Another major effect is that since past three years there is much financial
difficulty faced by UK economy and because of this the profits of company are low and
as a result of this all the bonus and incentives provided by company has reduced and this
causes dissatisfaction among the employees.
Social- since the last three years the nature of work has changed and it is very less
interesting to do the work as it was done earlier. So this also result in the dissatisfaction
of the employees as they have to do the monotonous work repeatedly and there is no
other innovative or creative work to do. In addition to this there is high financial
difficulty in economy of UK since past three years and this has created a feeling of
insecurity among the employees relating to their job. Thus, this insecurity result in
dissatisfaction of the employees (Perera, 2017).
Technological- there are many different advancement and upgradation within the
technological sector and when the companies in UK does not provide for training and
education to the employees relating to the latest advancement then this creates
dissatisfaction among the employees.
Legal- this is also a major important cause which can result in job dissatisfaction among
the employees in UK companies. This is majorly due to the fact that when all the rights of
the employees which are underlying in the laws of UK are not implemented and are not
provided to the employees then they get dissatisfied from their job resulting in decrease
in productivity of employees and leaving the job.
Environment- in the modern time the people have become more conscious relating to
protection of the environment and the companies which not perform this activity then the
employees of that company are not happy (Policy, 2018). Thus, this result in the
dissatisfaction of the employees and they tend to find other jobs which are performing

Further it was seen that even the external environmental factors also affect the
dissatisfaction of employees. Like for instance, as economy was facing financial difficulty then
this resulted in low pay and no bonus and other financial benefit and this resulted in
dissatisfaction of employees. Further in the end some suggestion was outlined for eradicating the
job dissatisfaction form the working of the company like creating positive working environment,
providing growth opportunities and many others. In addition to this all these changes were
