I am working as a service engineer in the current scenario. I have an experience of about
10 years in this field. However, currently I pursuing an undergraduate degree course in the area
of Business, Management and Economics (BME) with a concentration in Information Systems.
Right from the beginning of my career` I have develop a very keen interest in the field of cyber
security. Thus I feel that studying in the field of Information Systems will be very helpful for me
in order to develop my career. However I feel that it is very important to portray my value to the
employer when I present myself in any interview (Asktheheadhunter.com. 2019). As per the
interview available from the job interview site it is evident that before going to any interview,
job candidates must be making some kinds of preparations. It is good to do an in depth job

help the employer to see the aspiring job candidate as an employer. Thus I need to show a good
deal of interest in knowing about the details of the work and how the work is done.
This will be very helpful for making a very positive impact over the interviewer. It is
evident from the post that there will naturally be a huge crowd opting for the same job post. Thus
it is really very essential for having a well defined idea about the job posting. This will help in
developing a clear idea about the areas of strength and the area of weakness. I have also learnt
from the discussion post that it is very useful to stay well informed about the job requirements
and also about the skills that are actually present within the individuals. During then interview it
is essential to plan and speak (Schradin 2019). As I work in the field of service engineering it is
essential for me to have a clear idea about the fields or the place where I will be working. Thus I

will make sure that I am asking the employer about the place and the kinds of work that have
been carried on over here. I have learnt from the WHAT COLOR IS

been done by the job candidate. I have often faced a challenge as I suffer from lack of
confidence and do not know about what to speak next. Thus I will have to plan my approach in a

I am very thankful to go through the discussion post and also the reading lists that have
helped me on order to understand about the different kinds of challenges that one can face during
an interview. I have been able to recollect some of the horrific stories that have happened in the
past. I have learned from the 5 "Sticky" Interview Tactics: Part 1By Nick Corcodilos, that
letting the manager speak and seeing me as an employee is a very important and helpful move.
However in the last months there has been a very horrific experience with me. I went for the
interview of a cyber security analyst. The mistake I made was to go there in a much unprepared
manner. I knew that I want to work as a cyber security analyst in future but I was not very well
informed about the task. The mistake I made was to speak in an unprepared manner.
The interview continued for about 1 hour and I kept on speaking most of time.
Jobhuntersbible.com. (2019) has suggested that giving a chance to the employer for speaking is

of utmost importance. Thus it was creating a very negative impact about me on the employer. I
did not know what to speak thus I kept on speaking about my past achievements. I also realized
that I was only speaking about the bookish knowledge that I tried in all my past academic
semesters. This was really not expected from me. As an experienced job candidate the employer
was expecting something more dynamic and also very unique from my end (Streetdirectory.com.
2019). The interviewer was silent for a long time and then he suddenly made his outbursts. He
was very angry and disappointed with me. He gave me a very bad rating and asked me to
develop proper business etiquette before I come to the interview.
I neither got the job and neither a good review from the employer. I realized that keeping
a check over oneself is of utmost importance in any job interview. I will have to keep a control
over my body language and also my speech (John and Shafi 2018). Apart from this I have learnt
how to speak in a very controlled, precise, crisp and yet informative manner. In order to crack a
job interview I have to show something unique to the interviewer. Thus it is essential for me to
show my practical problem solving skills rather than boasting about the bookish language.
