The overall structure of the report is organized and the author attributes each and every new
idea in a different paragraph. This makes the work easier to read and comprehend. It also
makes the ideas flow; however, the first paragraph does not capture the attention of the
reader. The author could have started by defining what pathophysiology is so that anybody
apart from nurses could have a clear understanding of the case study. The theoretical
knowledge on the problem presented embodies the applied elements of logical reasoning and

the author also uses evidence to prove points. However, detailed information on the
physiological processes associated with the problem. Although there is relevant information
showing insight of the problem, scientific analysis is not well tackled. When writing the case, all
the parts were completed. It would have been however better if the author used subtitles
especially in the first question so as to notify the reader of what to expect in the paragraph to
follow. The standards of technical writing are very good because they make the complex
concepts easier to understand. The quality of content is very subjective although it does not go

to comprehend. The writing is clear, concise and straightforward with proper use of grammar
although the style and layout cannot be determined. It is important to note that the author
used both qualitative and quantitative research to verify the facts. The general aspects of the
report are very good. However, the author needs to include an opening statement and the
language should be simple to comprehend. The author needs to be precise when solving a
research problem to prevent being irrelevant.
