4JOURNAL ARTICLE REVIEW
Theory:
In this article, Porter’s configuration/ coordination framework was discussed and used
based on the previous research. As per this framework, the organization is observed as a
combination of nine general activities composed of value chain. These activities are responsible
for creating an interdependent system with internal connections within them. This framework
analyzes that the performance of each of those nine activities affects other’s performance in a
dominant environment. Therefore, competitive advantage is gained carrying out the activities at a
lower cost, by providing improved value and enhanced coordination.
Methodology:
There was nothing new introduced in this research and secondary sources of data was
collected. The secondary sources of data included organizational reports and company literature.
Global integration/ local responsiveness were used from a long time and for the current research
too. However, this research was not based on any kind of cross- cultural factors.
Data analysis:
A qualitative analysis of secondary sources of data showed the way in which global
integration/ local responsiveness perspective is different in the current article. The collected data
showed that beyond a certain point, the intervention in research has a powerful negative effect.
The data analysis showed that there is a high correlation with interconnected networking from
the intensity of global initiatives.
