In the year 2019, the Sydney Fest 2019 is
starting from 9th January and will
continue till 27th January with a good
number of Adventurous as well as diverse
programs from international theatre
like Beware of Pity and HOME to
glittering nights of music as well as
cabaret like Shànghǎi MiMi and Pigalle.

The festival is a highly crucial art festival of
Australia which runs for three weeks in the
largest city of the nation, Sydney. The
festival features more than 100 events every
year both from local as well as international
artists. Throughout the 3 weeks, programs
on contemporary as well as classical music,
dance, drama, circus, visual arts and artist
talks take place. Every year, more than 500,
000 individuals come to experience its large
scale free outdoor events and 150,000 to its
ticketed events.
Miley Taylor, a student of the Brisbane
University, stated that she is highly excited
to visit the Sydney Festival and is eagerly
counting days. The 2nd year student reported
that she would be attending the festival for
the first time. Throughout her college and
school life she has heard about the
wonderful experiences of her friends and
relatives at the mentioned festival and this
year she and her friends are highly excited to
experiences the fun music concerts, theatre
and parties that will take place at the
festival.
This year, the organizers are expecting a
massive crowd like the previous years.
Along with popular music and cabarets, the
visitors will also be able to enjoy two of the
great new theatres organised by Indigenous
program BLACK OUT that includes Man
With The Iron Neck and The Weekend.
Other major attractions that will be offered
by BLACK OUT this year include art
installations along with music and dance-
theatre by First Nations artists along with
the third edition of popular Indigenous
language classes Bayala. A contemporary
music program has also been organized.
The mentioned program will feature, Cuban
Mambo Band, pop icon Neneh Cherry, pop
superstar Nakhne, experimental electronic
composer Ben Frost along with other
famous artists. When it comes to the free
festival programs, visitors will be able to
experience moon art installations at World
Square, Darling Harbour and Barangaroo
South, the Sydney Symphony Under The

Stars in Parramatta Park and the famous “
Circus Comes To Town” weekend in Prince
Alfred Square.
The festival will be held at Hyde Park along
with the Festival garden and the Magic
Mirror Spiegelten, where consumers will be
able to drop in for food and drink before
attaining the show. Additionally, they will
also be able to enjoy free weekend parties
with the popular Disc Jockeys of Sidney the
Dollar Bin Darlings.
According to Wesley Enoch, the
director of the Sydney Festival 2019, the
Sydney Festival defines the personality of
the city and hence is more than a festival.
The festival has presented outstanding
international artists for more than four
decades who have made their way in the
headlines.

Wilson, Grace Jones, Manu Chao, Elvis
Costello, AR Rahman, Cate Blanchett,
Robert Lepage, The Flaming Lips, Nick

Enoch, these artists add prestige and
popularity to the festival. Some of the world
