Introduction
Entrepreneurs are the individuals who are willing to take risks in order to initiate their
Idea into physical appearance in order to take advantage from the competitive market while
planning, organising and developing resources. Innovation means creating products and services
or improving the existence of goods or services. Their meaning is to generate profits from the
competitive market while satisfying needs and wants of the targeted customers (Ahmad, Bakar
and Ahmad, 2018). This report is about developing startups in London. It discusses developing
an immunity booster drink which helps the targeted customers in order to increase the immunity
power in their body.
Main body
Start-up business idea
This report talked about the new project plan of developing immunity booster drinks by
an organisation named as JSK drinks and drinks company. It is a sole proprietorship company
which used to manufacture soft drinks and other kinds of drinks which helps the customers to
boost their immunity level (Baratoux, Bozentka and Van Roey, 2020). As in this pandemic
situation due to covid-19 everyone wants to avail such products which help them to boost their
immunity power of the body. In order to satisfy the needs and wants of the targeted customers
JSK drinks and drinks company has planned an innovative idea in order to develop a immunity
booster soft drink for their customers. This helps them to capture a competitive market in an easy
manner.
Industry profile
Retail sector industry is engaged in the process of selling the goods and services to the
end users through multiple channels of distribution in order to earn profits from it. It plays an
important role as it is the link between wholesaler and customers. In this industry, JSK drinks
and drinks organisation has developed business plans in order to provide the immunity booster
soft drinks to their targeted customers (Baron, 2021). In the United Kingdom There are several
companies which used to provide different drinks in order to boost the immune system on
consumption. It is a difficult task in the current industry in order to get sustainable growth as
Document Page
there are several companies which are already developing search immune system development
drinks but they are charging very high amounts as those companies earn more profits from their
customers. Customers from the lower and middle income cannot afford such immunity booster
drinks easily because these companies are charging high amounts.
Business Model
Porter's five forces is a model which helps the company to identify and analyse the five
competitive forces in order to shape their industry and helps them to analyse the strength and
weaknesses of an organisation. This model is applied in any segment of the economy so that the
organisation can understand the level of competition within the competitive market and also
increase the long-term profitability of the organisation.
Competition in the industry:
Out of five forces the first force talks about the number of competitors and their ability to
undercut a company (Capano and Galanti, 2021). The large number of competitors along with
the number of equivalent products and services which are offered by such competitors makes it
difficult for the organisation in order to survive in the competitive market. The buyers and
suppliers will not prefer to avail the products and services of an organisation if they failed in
offering them better offers and lower prices products as compared to their competitors
(Coulibaly, Erbao and Mekongcho, 2018). But when the competitive travel forms are low then a
company can have a great power to charge higher prices of their products and services in order to
achieve higher profitability.
Potential of new entrants into the industry: The power of a company can also be affected
by the force of new entrants into the existing market. Competitors can enter into the
company's market at lesser time and cost and also be effective as competitors as they can
establish your equivalent position. The organisation always has strong barriers to entry in
order to charge higher prices and enjoy the negotiated better terms competitive market.
This helps them to survive for a longer period of time in the market.
Power of suppliers: third factor talks about how easily the supplier can drive up the cost
of imports. This usually affects the number of suppliers of the material in the competitive
market, how unique they provide their imports and how much they are charging a cost in
order to switch to another supplier (Cunningham and Menter, 2021). When there are less

suppliers the company will be dependent on such suppliers and the resulting supplier will
have more power and can drive up their cost of imports and take the advantage in the
trade.
Power of customers: the ability which is possessed by the customers has to drive the
prices lower. The company e will be affected with respect to how many buyers are there
in the company e as they play a significant role in order to satisfy the cost to the
company. It is important for the organisation to determine the new customers from the
competitive market in order to provide their goods and services (de Vasconcelos Gomes
and et. al., 2018). An organisation which has many small independent customers will
have an easier time charging higher prices in order to increase the profitability from the
competitive market.
Threats of substitute products: every organisation must focus on the substitute goods and
services which can be used by the customers in order to replace their products and
services. It is the most common thread which most of the company used to face. Every
organisation must develop some of the techniques in order to deal with the threat of
substitute goods (Fischer, Queiroz and Vonortas, 2018). The companies which produce
goods and services for which there are no close substitutes will enjoy more power to
increase their prices and lock into the favorable terms but when the close substitute
products are available for the customers then it is difficult for the firms to keep on
engaging their targeted customers at their products only.
JSK drinks and drinks organizations used to focus on the porter's five forces model in
order to determine the competition and develop effective business strategies so that they can
better use their resources in order to generate the higher income from a competitive market.
Point of differentiation
There are several companies which are producing the immunity booster drinks in order to
make strong body parts. Even before the covid-19 the new health was a growing Trend as
everyone wants to be healthy and for that they love to consume the immunity booster’s drinks.
Independent situation the customers are more willing to consume the immunity booster drinks as
it becomes a way to save their lives (Jimmy and et. al., 2019). There are several boosters in the
form of tea healthy juices Kada, capsules, drops in many other choices as per the demands of

their targeted customers. The product which is planned by JSK drinks and drinks companies is
also developing the immunity level in one's body.
Challenged to business ideas
There are several challenges which can be faced by the company some of them are
discussed below:
Complicated Government Regulations: The company has to follow many rules and
regulations which must be fully filled by the organisations in order to serve their products
to their targeted customers (Qian, 2018). The authority can change laws which may be
impacted upon the operations of the business organisation.
Environment Friendly Propaganda: organisation must use eco friendly products which
helps them to attract their targeted customers. The world is facing global warming issues
and there are several other issues with respect to weather conditions (Shan and et. al.,
2018). The beverage companies are striving hard in the market as the manufacturing
process has a major impact with respect to the environment by minting meaning the
different practices and on profitability from it.
The E-commerce Edge: this sector is relatively slow on keeping up the technology. The
Other industries such as electronic textiles and many others have already ingrained their
presence in the commerce domain. It has a major impact on the organisation as more
Technologies use two considered by the customers in order to compare their products
with other competitors. An organisation is required to develop their technologies in a
manner so that they can determine the needs and wants of the targeted customers with the
help of trending things on the social media sites. This helps them to satisfy the needs and
wants of the targeted customers in an effective manner.
Rival companies: the most important challenge which can be faced by the company is to
compete with the competitors which are present in the existing competitive market. JSK
drinks and drinks company is a new venture which used to deal with providing healthy
drinks to the targeted customers in order to develop their immune system so that they can
fight back with the coronavirus.

drinks in order to satisfy their needs and wants in an effective manner. These customers cannot
pay a higher amount in order to avail the products. In this pandemic situation everyone is willing
to avail such products by which they can develop their immune system in an effective manner.
