1.The Torah is known by the Hebrew Bible which incorporates books such as Joshua, Book of
Ruth, Psalms and so forth. However, the term can be used in a general sense which tries to
include both Judaism’s oral law and written law, which incorporates covers the whole
authoritative teachings of the religion of Jew, teachings also include about the history which
further includes Mishnah, The Midrash, Talmud and many more. It is known by the Five books
of Moses.
The Talmud itself on the other hand is a record of the discussions of Jewish, law, ethics,
stories and customs which are in nature authoritative. It is the main source of rabbinic legislation
and cases of law. It is considered to be the most conventional manuscript of Judaism
2. The Torah is considered to be the first part of the bible of Jewish. It is the important Judaism’s
document and has been used by the Jews all thorough out the ages. It represents the link between
God and Jew. For a Jew, Torah is a chance to show their appreciation to their commandments. It
teaches Jews to follow the 613 commandments and accordingly, Jew can follow them in their
other activities of life.
Talmud constitutes the Jewish Culture and they are being connected to the Jewish
Philosophy and it is the backbone of the knowledge of the Jewish. It describes the binding of the
faith and questioning back the inquisitiveness, a self-criticism by spreading a constant awareness,
whose beyond lies the reality which one must be connected which had described the Jewish
people for the ages.
