Introduction
Performance appraisal is a method to evaluate the performance of different individuals
working in the company. It is used to evaluate the current performance of workforce in order to
identify the scope of future improvement (Lin and Kellough, 2019). In the study Jury Inn is taken

job. In order to build a positive relationship among employees and company, paying wages or
salary usually isn't enough. There are various ways through which performance appraisal can
create a major impact on employee's productivity. Salary is the only thing that motivates
employees to perform in a workplace. In order to increase employee's productivity, the
employees should be given perks based on their performance this will work as a good strategy in
increasing productivity. Some employees don't feel valued in their roles and in order to increase
employees productivity it is important that the organisations treat their employees as a important
part in the company. There are number of perks that involves flexible working hours, childcare
options, public holidays and time off for birthdays. In some organisations, employees appreciate
the option to work from home. There are various ways to improve productivity and ensuring that
employees are satisfied in all the working areas which will result in positive impact on their
performance. The employee is considered to be a important aspect in any organisation and in
order to make them perform better in the organisation. A healthy working environment not only
motivates employees but make them feel better about themselves and creates a sense of
belongingness. Each employee is a serious investment for a company, so the return that each
employee provides must be significant.

knows the required metrics it will help to analyse and measure in order to manage and monitor
their performance and empowering employees to perform better in the organisation. It also
involves boosting team morale and maintaining positive communication with the employees.
Methodology
Research philosophy: In research, there are two major philosophies are used such
as positivism and interpretivism (Staron, 2020). In context of present study the philosophy
which is applied is positivism due to its potential of driving effective and accurate results.
Research Approach: Here, inductive and deductive are the two major approaches of
research. In case of the current study, deductive approach is applied in order to get
appropriate outcomes within limited time period.
Research strategy: There is requirement to select suitable strategies for research
(Seehawer, 2018). In present scenario, survey strategy is used which will help in collecting
wide range of information within limited period of time and efforts.
Ethical consideration: In context of the present research, investigator will consider
the ethical principles such as confidentiality while collecting and using the information of
respondents.
Time Horizon: This elements of research methodology is related to prepare schedule
so that the entire project can be completed in timely manner (Viehof and Winner, 2018). In
case of the present study cross-sectional approach will be consider to conduct the research
appropriately.
Data collection and analysis: There are two major methods are used for the purpose
of data analysis and interpretation which are quantitative and qualitative methods
(VanKooten, 2019). In case of the present study, quantitative method is used which will help
in evaluating the data using numerical and statistical techniques.

through questionnaire. Also, secondary information will be collected via websites, journals,

representative of the entire research population. This approach will help in getting
meaningful conclusion out of research that will guide the researcher for future research
work.
