Introduction:
Most of the retail shops are now using the various technologies to minimize the time of
shopping especially the paying method is the main concern. It happens in every retail shop that
after choosing the products, payment method or payment technologies take lots of time. This
research contains the new technologies, which will help to reduce the timing in a retail shop. Just
walk-out technology is one of the valuable technology that can give the benefit to the customers.
Research area and purpose of the research will be described in this report, which will clear the
scene of this technology and it also uses by providing the benefit.
Research area and purposes of the research:
The research area of this project is the development of the technology in the retails shop
to reduce the time of the customers and increase the service level. Technology that can change
the trends of the payment method is the Just walk-out technology. The main aim of the research
is to bring the new technology to the market to develop the whole process. Basically payment
method in the retail shop has been very time to consume and most of the retail shop introduced
the self-checkout system for example M&S, TESCO, but still, it is not fully able to eliminate the
problems (Hejl et al. 2015). New and fast technology is needed to increase the market value and
also the shopping experiences. Just walk-out technology is based on the advanced deep learning
algorithm and sensor fusion techniques which will allow the customer to make the shopping
more freely. This research will reveal the demand of the market regarding the payment system
and also the infrastructure and supportive activity of launching this technology (Melis et al.

revealed the problems regarding the payment system.

4) Who will get the benefit and how by this process?
Produced technology:
Just walk-out technology is the fastest technology that used the advanced technology to
reduce the time in the retail shop. This technology works differently by using the computer
vision, sensor fusion and deep learning algorithm and all this technology allow the customers to
auto update the virtual card. In order to utilize the just walk-out technology system, a simple, just
walk-out card will be provided by the shop (Inman and Nikolova 2017). Using the card at the
time of entering the shop will automatically add all the products, which a customer will buy. This
is the basic structure of this technology, which will help the customers to shop more smoothly.
Technological advancement in the retail shop is most needed to gain in the business because time
consumption in the retail shop prevents many customers to visit the shop (Taylor 2016). Just
walk-out technology is invented to solve this major problem by using the just walk-out card.

Benefit of the research project:
The benefit of this research project is to identify the main issues regarding the time
consumption in the retail shop and to provide the proper structure of payment system by using
the new Just walk-out technology (Holweg, Teller and Kotzab 2016). Beside this main benefits,
increasing the selling is another benefit and this can be achieved by providing advanced service
like Just walk-out technology, managing the time of the consumers, providing fluent shopping
experiences to the consumers will be the benefits that can help to achieve the technological
advancement as well as increasing the market value.
Stakeholders:
The main stakeholder who will get the benefits is the customers. Customers will get the
benefit of this technology properly because they are the main victims of this problems and them
complaint several times (Battaglia et al.2015). The self-checkout system reduced the problems
somehow but not able to do the whole. Just walk-out technology will provide this facility to the
customers of flexible shopping and advanced technological experiences. Beside this, employees
will also get some free time because in retail shop payment counter is always full of customers
and this imposes huge pressure on the customers. Employees will help the customers by
providing the information about the products more specifically which help the customers to
choose the products. Customers in popular retails shops like ASDA, ALDI, M&S reveals the
help regarding products and also need the time of shopping and this can be achieved only by Just

save the time of the customers and they will obviously find the interest to shop more freely

the value of the customers and government can collect extra revenue if sales increase. The
investor will also invest extra money because this technology reduces the cost of the machinery
uses in the payment system. Just walk-out technology will help to enhance the whole scenario of
retail market and development of payment system, which will increase the profitability of the
company (Anitsal, Moon and Anitsal 2015).
Conclusion:
From the above report, it can be concluded that Just walk-out technology is the brand
new technology which will help to uplift the shopping experience and also provide enough time
excluding the complicated system of payment. Advanced system and technologies are used in
this process to enhance the scenario and stakeholders will also get the profit of this technology.
