JUSTICE AND CHANGE IN THE GLOBAL WORLD

Lack of educational opportunity in rural and remote areas (International and Global)
At present world, education is considered as the backbone of the country in terms of
development and growth. Education plays a very vital role in the development of the individual
on the global level. As per the study, it has been seen that both developing, as well as developing
countries, consist of some remote area. These areas are continuously suffering from basic needs,
which include food, health, and education. Developing country like Australia is also suffering
from these issues. Two main issues on which Australia is suffering from are health and
education. As per Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission report, it has
been seen that remote areas like New south Wales, Western Australia are considered as low
educated population in Australia community (Stokes , John and Holdsworth, 2019). This is
because these communities are having a low-income level and the education system is not good
enough because these areas are actually cut off from the metropolitan cities in terms of economy
flow and infrastructure. Income level and infrastructure are often considered as the basic needs
of education.
In addition to this, Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunities Commission report find
out that individuals belonging to these remote areas often have to face discrimination related to
education opportunities because of low family income level (Dementia, 2019). Even though
Australian government has introduced various scheme related to education but these schemes are
not able to reach these place due to lack of infrastructure and other facilities.
A survey conducted on education opportunity on the global level stated that individuals living in
remote areas on the global level are fared as compared to individuals living in metropolitan cities
regarding education. It has been found that in the world around a third population of world
student from billions is deprived of educational opportunity because they belong to rural area
because these areas still struggle on basic transport facilities, which enhance the education
system. This clearly displays the social injustice related to education opportunity on both
domestic as well as international level.
As per Youth research centre survey commissioned, people living to remotes areas on the global
level have actually very less access to the education system. Even if they did, they have to pay
more for education, which actually disturbs the financial budget of the parents living in remote
areas (Borgen project, 2019). In addition to this families with sound financial status can afford
transportation facilities in order to offer education to their children while families which are
struggling for their basic needs cannot afford this kind of service in order to educate their
children.
From the above researches, it can be said that these areas are remote not because of their
geographic locations. These areas are remote because these areas are not aware of the power of
education. They have do not have any clue how education can transform their needed situation
into offering situation (Conversation, 2019). As per the study, it has been found that an
educational environment is considered more beneficial than the scheme that the government has
introduced in the form of free groceries for the population below poverty line on the international
level. It is because these schemes can fulfill their hunger but it not at all capable of improving

their living condition, which can be only improved through education. Providing education to
this community of population will help in bringing social justice for these sections of the
population. Though there are many NGO, which are working on this important aspect, their
number is not enough to cover all the remote areas of the world population.
In this situation, I believe that my professional can help a lot in improving the present situation
of the individuals living in remote areas of Australia as well as on the global level. At present,
we are in the world of technology and we can make better use of this technology to provide
education to individuals living in remote areas (Quora, 2019). My aim is to first generate
awareness of education in these remote areas by explaining its benefits in order to encourage
these individuals for education and with the help of technology, I will try to connect these remote
areas with each other in order to remove education fear from their mind. For this, I will require
support from various organization like NGO, Corporates, and government on the international
level. I am sure they will offer full support to me by seeing my purpose.
