Overview of Organisation
 International Medical Corp is a private
organisation and also non-profit group. This
organisation helps the people seeking health care
in the worst situations.
 The organisation work in every where in the
world.
 They have 7,000 workers globally and recruit
people from the local areas where they work
(International Medical Corps, 2019).
 They help in providing hunger helps to the people
seeking help or providing health care to lower
economic countries in order to reduce mortality or
morbidity rate.
 They help people affected by wars or natural
calamities and also provide health education to
people as well.
 The organisation took an extra initiative for the
Ebola virus affected people as well (Wong et al.,
2015).
Contribution to the Common Good
 According to the organisational data it can be seen that
they have helped in delivering 62,300 babies with the
help of skilled professionals in 2018 (International
Medical Corps, 2019).
 They have helped people all over the world by providing
hygiene items approximately to 126,500 people and also
be educating people to live healthy (International
Medical Corps, 2019).
 In 2018 they also provided more than 7.6 million people
around the world by providing mental health care,
specialised care, nutrition, psychological support along
with other services (International Medical Corps, 2019).
 They also provide health care training across the world
and their reports highlighted that they have provided
training to 72,000 people in 2018 for delivering improved
care (International Medical Corps, 2019).
 The factor of common good should be provided
without any discrimination and the organisation
follows this aspect with priority.
My Professional Contribution
 I should consider equity in health for every person
for improved care providence.
 I should follow the standards of care for providing
health care to every person of the world without
discriminating regardless gender, age, race, culture
social background, socio economic structure and
others (Artiga & Hinton, 2018) .
 I should also value the cultural aspects of every
individual or population in order to provide
improved care (Knopf et al., 2016).
 As a care professional of the International Medical
Corp I should be able to follow the mission and
vision of the organisation and provide justice to
the people seeking health care (Moaddab et al.,
2015).
 On the other hand I should be able to help the
people based on the requirement of the person.

 This organisation deliver health care, training
and the condition so that the they can be able to
find the condition that help them relieve from
