INTRODUCTION
Psychology is defined as the study of mind and behavior which is related to the
individual. It usually comprises various biological influences, social pressures, and
environmental factors to impact people thinking, acting, and feeling. In addition, psychology is
also defined as a science or art which is useful to read the mind, and behavior of the individual. It
is usually associated with the mental health of any individual or group (Abel, 2018). Psychology
is usually followed by various norms and ethics which is play a vital role to analyze the behavior
of individual and their mind. Therefore, some theories may play a vital role in constructing the
psychological aspect of behavior and evaluating the individual. Some of the theories that take
place with the psychological aspect are social identity theory, theory of planned behavior, and
frustration-aggression hypothesis. Moreover, these all aspects are usually undertaken with the
report to analyze the behavior and mind's perspective of Kabee who is taking under the case
study with above listed psychological theories (Heydarian and et. al., 2020).

Social identity theory
Social identity theory in social psychology is defined as the study of the interplay between
personal and social identities. The social identity theory is usually specified aim order to protect
the consequences under which individuals’ things of themselves as an individual or as group
members. Moreover, the theory also considers the complications of personal and social identities
of individual perception and group behavior. In this context the Kabee, who is 17 years old and
has served an 18-month custodial sentence for an obsession with drugs with the intent to supply.
With this, the social identity theory is usually provided an aspect where Kabee has a personal
attribute and also a social implication she is advised to take admissions in college for the
educational purpose. In addition, the youth of the offending team has notified that Kabee has not
been attending his college courses (Hodges, 2018). The social identity theory provides a situation
that is helpful to understand the circumstances where Kabee thinks of themselves as an
individual and the major consequences that they consider personal perception towards
themselves. Therefore, social identification is essential for the Kabee to ensure that their identity
is developed in a form of series which is helpful to improve their status. Social identity refers to
ways that people's self-concept is based on their community and social groups. For example,

Kabee is usually associated with the possession of drugs and involvement in the intent to supply.
There are some of the concepts which are related to the social identity theory are that the social
group of Kabee is related to the drug aspect. With this, Kabee is planning to take an enrolment of
course then Kabee did not match with the social group of college due to differences in her social
identity. In addition, Kabee did not match with the course and the student who is enrolled due to
the difference in culturalism as a student (Iparraguirre, 2018). Whereas, they did not find their
group or social identity so Kabee refuse to attend the course. Moreover, the theory is well
developed in order to provide the contrast of social identity which is required by people to match
their vibes and make a connection with the aspect of the psychological aspect. The social identity
theory in the context of Kabee the evidence provided that the Kabee is usually has a past
connection with their groups of drug people. While taking admission to the college, they have
seen a newer group, and their perspective and perception did not match so the consequences are
arising following the absence of college or courses from the Kabee side (Kaur and Noman,
2022).
Theory of planned behavior
According to the theory of planned behavior, the behavior is usually influenced by the
intention which is usually determined by three factors that are attitude, subjective norms, and
perceived behavior control. It is also evaluated that they are possible for the external factor that
directly contributed in order to prevent behavior regardless of intention depending upon the
degree to which the behaviour is controlled by the individual (Kim, Mitchell and Ting, 2019).
The degree of perceived behavior is an accurate measure of actual behavioral control. These all
relationships are followed with the same origin that is focused on adaptation. In the context of
the Kabee, the attitude, subjective norms, and perceived behaviour control is usually related to
their experience of obsession with the drug. Therefore, the intention in behavior is usually
cumulative and attracted in order to take social group and community regarding their past work
that is drug supply. The in-depth analysis of this Kabee usually shows the attitude that she is
obsessed with the drug and their subjective norm are usually consist of social pressure and
provide proper individual value. The perceived behavior control usually determines the ability of
an individual to feel perform a specific behavior in their context. There are some assumptions
and limitation which is analyzed with the study of the theory of planned behavior that individual
is rationally according to their attitude subjective norm and perceived behavior control. In

addition, these factors are not important that are considered during decision-making but from the
backdrop of the decision-making process. Therefore, it is also analyzed that the people are
usually not articulate in any individual attitude but it may influence their decision making which
is analyzed within the case study where Kabee refuses to attend the courses due to the perceived
behavior and attitude. Some conflicts arise with their assumptions and limitation of the theory of
plant behavior because sometimes humans usually act emotionally, rather than act rationally.
Therefore, it is difficult and challenging when the optimization is rationalized which is based on
human behavior rationally but some researchers are usually called it sense-making (Lakens,
Scheel and Isager, 2018).
In the context of the theory of planned behavior that is successful in order to predict and
elaborating on the range of health behavior and intention such as smoking, drug abuse, health
services, utilization, and substance use among others. The theory of planned behavior
achievement depends on both motivations which are known as intention and ability which is also
called control. It usually creates differences between three types such as attitude, subjective, and
with the current situation, they focus on the followed attitude and subjective norms with the
control that provides a perceived behavior that is related to the experience. Moreover, Kabee also
takes admissions as per the pressure youth offender but after a time while Kabee refuses to attend
the courses due to the perceived behavior from the previous decade (Pummerer and et. al., 2022).
Frustration aggression hypothesis
The frustration-aggression hypothesis in psychology is defined as a psychodynamic
approach where the individual is frustrated. They experience a wide range of drive to be
aggressive towards the object of their frustration but it is impossible or inappropriate to show the
sources of their aggression are displaced by something or someone else. In the context of the
case study, when the youth offenders are used to meeting on the notification that the Kabee did
not attend the courses. Moreover, Kabee's behavior becomes aggressive and storms out of the
meeting (Robinaugh and et. al., 2021). Therefore, the frustration-aggression hypothesis is usually
playing a role within the case study due to the experience that drives the Kabee to show some
inappropriate reactions. In addition, the sources of the aggression are not identified and
determined and it takes place due to the long-term effect. The major example which may play a
role in order to create understanding regards the frustration-aggression hypothesis that
disrespected and humiliated at his work but cannot respond to fear of losing and take his anger

and release frustration out on his family. With the same experience, Kabee faces sometimes
humiliation and disrespect during the pursue of courses, and after a time while Kabee did not
attend the courses. These all aspects are usually related to the psychological impact followed by
the theory of frustration-aggression hypothesis (Scheel and et. al., 2021).
CONCLUSION
As per the above discussion, it is well analyzed that the psychological theory usually plays a
vital role in order to understanding people's behavior, thinking, and ability regards with any
action or reaction. Moreover, the report is usually consisting of three theories that are associated
with the case study in order to interpret the behavior and action of a person in the situation. The
theory which may be helpful to create a better understanding regards with the case study is the
social identity theory, the theory of planned behavior, and the frustration aggression hypothesis.
