INTRODUCTION
The presented report is based on the stakeholder analysis. The stakeholders refers to the
individual person who are highly interested in the functioning of the organisation. the
stakeholder can be investor, workers, buyers, supplier, communities, government or trade
association. The present report is based on the case study of Fiji Island in which the island is
having some sort of issues due to which the study will conduct stakeholder in order to resolve
them in effective as well as efficient manner. along with that the report will shade a light on
potential area of intervention and on the bases of that the study will deliver the recommendation
in an appropriate manner to deal with the issues.

Issues
Sea and cost is public or private property
Kacaunigau Island is one of the major parts of the Fiji Islands group that incorporates 4 resorts
and residential subdivision along with 50 houses. Managers of this land have restricted local
residents from accessing the coast and sea. But there are some tourists who have complained that
villagers are often found near the coast and sea to loiter. Thus, it has become an on-going
conflict for the Kacaunigau that the sea and coast are public or private property. It is quite
common, if any tourist is paying additional charges for the coast and beaches so they can spend
good time over there. While local residents loiter in these places without paying any charge and
disturbs tourist’s daily life. Definitely one question arises in tourists whether this property is
public or private. Managers of the Kacaunigau need to make some policies related to local
residents and tourist places then they can resolve the issues effectively.
Unavailability of sewer line on Island
Another conflict issue related to Kacaunigau Island is that there is no sewer line. It is one of the
major on-going conflicts for the managers of the Island. This situation often comes. For example,
electricity supplies from generators and water from the rainwater collection tanks. As
mentioned, there is no sewer line on the island. Therefore, a lot of wastage from the villages and
the island resorts drains into the sea. It polluted sea water as well as small animals that live in the
sea. These animals help to maintain equilibrium of surroundings. However, there is a positive
aspect that electricity generates through rainwater collection so there is no waste of rain water
but in the absence of sewer lines that polluted water drains into sea that creates water pollution

which is not good for everyone. Sea water continuously flows to other water sources. So, water
pollution issues can arise in the upcoming time. Managers of Kacaunigau should take appropriate
steps to resolve this on-going conflict. Managers of the Kacaunigau should take permission from
the government to install a sewer line because nearby villages also do not have such facilities.
Due to this wastage comes from Island resorts and villages and ends up into the sea. Or managers
of the resort can also grant permission to connect sewer and discharge waste into public sewer.
Thus, they can resolve current issues.
Conflicts among the farmers and the owner
It is the last issue which is occurred on the the island is that conflicts among the people. the
Kacaunigau island is renowned for the most fertile island in the Fiji due to that advantage the
owner of the sugar can farmer willing to increase the profitability. So in context to that the owner
is increasing the rental and threating the farmers to leave the lands. The farmer are facing
pressure from the owner in context to that the individual farmer file complaint which also
include extra obligation. Due to that the individual person is feeling insecure and disrespect to
the people.
Stakeholder Matrix
Stakeholder Matrix is a type of management tool that is used to determine project stakeholders in
order to identify actions which are crucial to align their aims along with the project (Nguyen and
Mohamed, 2018). This analysis is essential for any type of business because it helps to get the
project into shape. It also builds understanding regarding the projects and stakeholders action.
Kacaunigaus manager uses this stakeholder matrix to determine their key stakeholders and
prioritise them according to their power and roles. There are four types of key stakeholders that
are mentioned below-
High Power-High Interest (Manage Closely): This category involves investors, top management
and community who are more powerful and willing to invest on profitable projects or companies.
So, it is important for companies to fully engage with this category. Kacaunya needs to prioritise
these stakeholders and keep them happy with the project's progress. Additionally, it can keep
them more satisfied by offering a good product on its profit ratio. On the other hand, top
management is also an important stakeholder who possesses strong power in the company and
has high interest in the company's business process. With the support of top management,

employers can align talented staff in the workplace that helps to increase revenue of the business.
It is essential for the company to keep top management happy.
High Power-Less Interest (Keep Satisfied): This category involves government, communities,
creditors who have high power but they can be less interested in projects. The reason behind this
is that they help organisations or any tourist place to run its business smoothly whether they are
interested or not. It is important for the Kacaunigau to keep these people more satisfied by
complying with all rules and regulations which are proposed by the government to maintain
ethical practices (Styk and Bogacz, 2022). For example, Kacaunigau is facing sewer line issues
and that has become a conflict issue for the government. The reason behind is that wastage of
island resorts ends up in the sea that pollutes water. In this situation, the government can support
this tourist place to grant permission to discharge waste into public sewers. Thus, there are other
policies required to be followed by tourist companies. If they do not follow the rule and
regulation of this stakeholder then they can create issues to run the business. Therefore, it is
essential to keep satisfied with this key stakeholder.
Low Power-High Interest People (Keep Informed): Employees, customers are key stakeholders
of this category who have high interest but low power. It is also an important stakeholder for the
company because with them it can gain all its prioritised goals within a time frame. Therefore,
organisations need to keep these people informed from time to time and supervise them on a
regular basis to ensure that they are not facing any issues while dealing with tasks or projects.
Secondly, employees are considered assets of the company because they support the organisation
to achieve its target. But these category people do not have any power so they cannot do
anything wrong with the organisation's policy (Nguyen, Mohamed and Panuwatwanich, 2018).
Customers are also important stakeholders who help employers to build a good brand image in
the business market by word- wording promotion and increasing demand for its product and
services in the business market.
Low Power-Less Interest People (Monitor): Suppliers and vendors are categorised for this
stakeholder matrix that is required to inform periodically but not need to do over. However, this
category stakeholder helps to maintain the supply chain effectively by which business runs
smoothly. But these stakeholders keep less interest in business functioning but they cannot
interrupt any business activities because they do not have power. So, it is a positive aspect for the
Kacaunigau.

Recommendation
From the identification of the various issues it is important to considered some valid point for the
further development of the organisation and due to the assistance of that the people of the
community can be more productive and effective. In order to control the pollution and provide
solution to the public for the development the association should work on the water pollution too.
in context to the the authority should work on the development and need to build the sewer line
over there’s the waste will not be thrown in the sea and help in maintaining the cleanness in the
near by areas of the seas in effective as well as efficient manner. Along with that for the
management of the sewer line the authority has opportunity to hire the candidate who can take
care of the coastal area and will operate the sewer line system properly (Abdollahpouri, and et.al
2020). Moreover it is important to increase the awareness among the people about the ethical
values and sustainability of the resources. Apart from that the resort should the reusable product
and should use the garbage for storing the waste and recycle them. apart from that the
organisation or the resorts should decrease the utilization of the plastic which also harm the

living bodies inside and outside the planet. Along with that thew wastage like fruits, vegetable,
egg shell, grass clippings, coffee grounds and leaves need to composed it. Along with the
authority should take inactive step toward the 3R phrase that indicate the reuse, recycle and
reduce the waste. Along with that the authority can encourage the people for avoiding the
misbehaviour toward the nature or natural resources as they are limited and need to sustain for
the future utilization.
Moreover in order to resolve the another issue the resort need to bifurcate the property and
clarify it is public or private organisation. it give assistance in resolving the issues of the tourist
which complaint that the local residents or the people are roaming near the beaches of the resort.
In context to satisfy the numbers of the visitors visit the resort for the better experience the
organisation need to declare the firm as the private or the public place and should not allow the
public to visit te area which is secure for the visitors (Shrivastava, and Nagwani 2022). In order
to resolve the last issue which is related to the threatening and forcing the farmers the
organisation or the authority should provide the rules and regulation for the welfare of the
farmer. In context to that the authority should take strict and rapid action against the people who
are threating and forcing the farmer. Furthermore the organisation or the higher authority of the
island should pay attention on the complaints of the farmer and punish the victim so the peace
will be maintain in the island. Along with that the individual person has the opportunity to
develop the better understanding among the people by communicating with the people and find
out educate solution after analysation. Along with that the authority provide respect to the people
treating them in the right manner. Apart from that the authority of the island should fixed the
amount of rent which is liable to the farmer for the payment to the owner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it will be concluded that the stakeholders are the major or essential
elements of the organisation who has the potential to improve the working condition of the
organisation in effective as well as efficient. The presented report highlighted the issues that
includes pollution issue due to waste of unavailability of the sewer line, sea Anand cost is public
or private property and another issue is of threatening and forcing the farmer. The report
highlighted that there are major steps that can organisation used for improving the productivity
and resolving the conflicts among the people in effective as well as efficient manner.
