Introduction
This is a reflection of my leaning from the workshop and different activities. It is based on the
self-awareness and Johari Window Model of self-awareness. This report will provide four
different activities for a workshop, which are beneficial for intelligence. This report will helpful
for understanding about emotional and cultural intelligence though these activities. Reflection is
providing a self-learning from our experiences (Anderson, 2016).
All the activities are based on emotional intelligence and self-awareness. Employees are facing
different challenges at workplaces. Hence, they should have enough power to handle challenges
with their innovative ideas and skills (Taylor, 2017).
I will provide different activities, which are based on the different topics of my class. It will
describe about the emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence and diversity for global citizen.
Part -1
1. Activity -1:
Time required (30 minutes)
I have an idea for learning and reflection that is based on the Johari Window model
(Saxena, 2015). In this activity, individual can participate. A plane paper will provide to
every person, which have four parts for writing about themselves, which are Open/free
area, Blind area, Hidden area and Unknown area. All four areas are required data about
the participants.
In open/free area, everyone have to write about themselves, such as strength and
weakness as well as their achievements. In blind area, they can write about their
weakness as emotional and cultural ways. In hidden area, they can write about their
hidden talents and abilities, which are never shared with others in past. In unknown area,
they can write about their comfort zones and hidden abilities, which can be explore in
future. Reflection is having different methods for learning as well. It is helpful for
creativity through writing (Bolton, 2010). Johari Window Model is useful for self-
awareness as well as motivation (Halpern, 2009).

Workshop Activity 3
Johari Window Model is beneficial for the participants and it provides them a way to
analyses different things about them self. Employers are also required emotionally fit
people for their work. Therefore, they can work properly and make their business
processes better. The Johari Window Model is beneficial for self as well as known. A

Through this activity, participants can improve their different skills, such as self-
awareness and team building. There are many benefits of this activity, as it is used for
finding our weaknesses. Therefore, we can remove from ourselves.
2. Activity-2:
Time required (90 minutes)
I have an innovative idea to test creativity of people. I will provide a sheet to different
groups with size of six persons. They have to design solutions of real life problem, such
as traffic control, purchasing, and many more. In this sheet, they have to make a model
for solving those problems, which are facing by a normal human being in their real life.
They can choose only one problem. It will provide a critical analysis to them. This
activity will take fifteen minutes only. In education system, reflection is so important as
well, it is beneficial in real life as a global citizen (Calderhead, 1989). This activity is so
simple but interesting for participants. A reflective activity is used previous experience

Time required (45 minutes)
This activity is a presentation in which every group will create a presentation on their
selected topic, such as emotional intelligence, cultural intelligence, and diversity. All
people will divide in-group of five members. Each group member will provide their
efforts to fulfill thier objectives for given task. They must critically analysed the problem
first then provide a solution (Zeichner & Liu, 2010). This activity is used for checking
technical skills as well as creativity and intelligence. Critical situation are very tough for
a person. Hence, people should have a critical thinking in them to solve such types of
situations (Fook, 2010). This type of activity is beneficial for enhancing confidence of a
person at workplace. They can accept challenges at workplace as well as opportunities.
Employees should have their confidence level high enough to solving critical problems
(Lawrence-Wilkes & Ashmore, 2014).
Through this activity, participants can improve their leadership, relationship building, and
professionalism. Participants can get benefits in terms of innovative ideas for a given
task.
4. Activity -4:
Time required (60 minutes)
In this activity, everyone will be divided in groups and all have a group leader, which
describe about their project. Every group will have different things for creating some
innovative model that will reduce human efforts in working with efficient performance.
There are few things, which make employees weak, such as creativity, knowledge and
many others. Sometimes new things are breaking their comfort zones, such as introduce
new software or platform at workplace. Lack of knowledge and creativity makes people
bounded. Self-reflection is helpful for understanding about ourselves and it will provide
knowledge about us. Hence, we can improve our weaknesses (bradford.ac.uk, 2018).

In above section, four activates are described for workshop. These activities are providing help to
participants for increasing their knowledge as well as creativity. All activities are having

and weaknesses of a person and it will beneficial to remove weaknesses and convert them into
strengths.
In second activity, analysis processes is used to check critical thinking of a person as well as
group members. This activity will provide help to understand the real problem of real-life
activities then they found out the solution of that problem. This activity will increase their
motivation, creativity, cultural intelligence, emotional intelligence, as well as diversity.
In third activity, presentation will be delivering by the group leader and other group members. It
will make their confidence high as well as stage fear. That is a knowledge-based activity, which
required high confidence to face people.
In forth activity, project development process will help them to introduce their different ideas for
problem solving. This activity is best for reflection on our experiences. It is also beneficial for

Conclusion
In conclusion, part one is provides different activities for a workshop, which is based on the
