Travel and tourism industry is the booming and fast growing industry. In this report, it
will be discuss on the Kenya and south Australia tourism industry. The positive and negative
environmental, social and economical impacts of the tourism on both countries. The kinds of
strategies are required to reduce the negative impacts while increasing the positive.
Positive impact of various factors on Kenya
Economic factors:
Tourism creates employment opportunities for the local people of Kenya. Tourism promotes healthy relationship with other countries which also increase the trade
across the countries (Barrows, 2011).
Social factors:
With the help of tourism the tradition and cultures of local people can be preserved. Tourism helps in understand the culture of various countries which improves the life
Style of the people in Kenya.
Environmental factors
Kenya is the land of biodiversity. It has various natural attractions like, Maasai Mara
reserve, wild life safari, beaches etc.
Kenya offers eco-tourism which do not have negative effects on the environment.

diversification is necessary. For this Kenya government can open new adventures spot
this will increase the tourist activities throughout the country.
There is need to reduce the no. of tourist in some areas apart from this government can
charge double entry fee for vesting them, this method increase the income of that place
and will reduce the tourists as well (Cook, Hsu & Marqua, 2013).
