INTRODUCTION
Key Performance Indicator is one of the most effective tool hat helps to measure
performance level of people in order to make changes for the further improvement and
development. The method is used by businesses, schools, institutes and colleges to evaluate
performance of their candidates and employees. The report will cover KPI and key terms and
subjects with an age group of 11 to 16 of students to determine results regarding inclusive and
effective learning. KPI importance for students, certain implications on teachers and how they
affect them will be covered in this report. In addition to this, impact of KPI on student
performance with effect on certain individuals. Further, the report will also demonstrate
classroom activities and environment, teaching methods, leadership styles and inclusive learning.
Finally, the report will cover effectiveness of KPI to teachers that whether they should change
their learning or teaching styles or not.
CONTEXT

There are many key terms and subjects related to key performance indicators that will be
described in this report. Key Performance Indicator is a measurement tool used by many
businesses as well as institutes to determine their performance level that helps to make plans and
strategies to make relevant changes accordingly (Parmenter, 2015).
In addition to this, there are some key terms of KPI such as subjects are necessary to
measure data and information for effective evaluation. Performance measurement will help
businesses and institutes to determine their current performance level so that they can make
things better.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
KPI can be described as a measurable value, which helps to demonstrate how effectively
a business is achieving success. Many businesses use KPI at different levels in order to measure
and determine their success towards objectives and reaching targets. In addition to this, high
level KPI may focus on the overall performance of a company while low level KPI focus on
procedures managed by various departments such as marketing, sales and call centre.
One of the most important aspects of KPI is in the form of communication which is often
overlooked. KPI requires strategy to formulate within business that the team should start with

basics to understand what the objectives are and how they can plan to achieve them. This is also
an iterative process which includes feedbacks from analysts and managers of department.
The age group of 11-16 years old students is selected to measure their performances. The
age group is also selected that students between these ages are able to provide performance at a
level where KPI can be a useful tool (Stronge and Tucker, 2017). KPI will help to build a better
performing team within students in order to improve and develop their performances. The

institutes or classroom. KPI is a very effective tool for students who are in process of learning
that a measurement tool is required to determine performance level of students.
This will also help teachers to make necessary changes in the process of learning
effectively, according to the performance indicated by KPI process. There are many institutes
and colleges focusing on their students’ performance and success. Key performance indicator
will help them to make strategic plans and college activities in order to hold themselves towards
students’ success.
Development plan and high expectations are set by them which include mainly KPI
method to determine performance level of their students and how well the programmes are
going. In this method, teachers and management compare performance of students with peer
students, institutions and set different areas for development and improvement in the
performance. JCCC's key performance indicator helps to determine and measure student success
(Nuttall, 2017). It is also used as benchmark to assess JCCC’s performance against the
performance of peer institutions.
Thus, it can be said that KPI is not a barrier for students instead it helps management to
evaluate their performance level in order to make changes for further improvement and
development for future success effectively.

How do they affect teachers?
The purpose of key performance indicator is to use benchmark tool, which is useful for
teaching and practices in both excellent and non-excellent teachers within institutes in order to
investigate the possible relationship between five different thinking domains such as teachers,
their philosophy, objectives, content knowledge and management style and expectations
effectively.
This will affect the behaviour and working style of teachers towards providing learning to
students in order to make them successful in the future. The method has a great impact on
teachers as it is all depended on performance provided by students. If the performance is good
and effective then there will be no changes in teaching method and if the results are not good
than teachers will make some certain changes as strategy to manage learning environment and
working style effectively (Rienties and Toetenel, 2016). There is an inter-relationship between
the five domains of a teacher and key performance indicator method and also has a direct impact
in terms of positive and negative.
The most significant domain for KPI is an excellent classroom management style with
highest factors loading and also followed by teaching philosophies and objectives. It can be said
that there are some certain implications of KPI on teaches in terms of making necessary changes
in their working and management style in order to improve and develop performance of students
effectively.
This will also have an impact on who they can prioritise and make focus on according to
the performance and information provided by KPI method regarding their performance in
classroom. Thus, it can be said that KPI is an important method and its tools of measuring
performance is also crucial for both students and teachers that helps to make relevant changes to
achieve success in the future.

There is a great impact of KPI on student performance and development that it helps to
improve effectiveness of both working and management style to achieve future success. It can be
said that it is important for institutes and colleges to evaluate performance of their students in
order to make changes in management and other departments. This will be done by key
performance indicator method which is a tool that helps to compare current performance of

students in learning session to current successful students learning environment. This will help to
identify factors which are necessary to improve or develop performance of students in classroom
effectively (Ćukušić, Garača and Jadrić, 2014). In addition to this, it will also help to determine
strategies and plans required to manage performances to achieve future success.
The KPI can be used by management or teachers as a performance management vehicle
which helps to determine issues, track fixes and discussion for solution. This will help to
evaluate weaknesses of students in order to make certain changes in management style of
teachers accordingly and effectively. It is an effective way to understand benefits and drawbacks
of current management style using measurement and indicator tools through balance scorecard
approach. It s a measurable value which helps to demonstrate how students are achieving their
learnings and effective environment to accomplish business success. Key performance indicator
is crucial because it helps to focus on a common goal of stay aligned within institutes and
improve performance. The challenge is to find which specific measure will help or enable
teachers and management to improve performance of students with age group of 11-16. KPI are
at the heart of any performance management system to measure success and target setting. With
the proper use and effective use of KPI methods, teachers are able to provide inclusive learning
by focusing on major factors identified from KPI tools effectively. There are 28 key performance
indicators in education system such as academia, finances, ratios, curriculum, faculty, facilities
and technology etc. These all have an impact on student development and improvement. For an

Academia
Graduation rate: KPI helps to determine students who have completed their schooling and
received a certificate within a normal time period.
Awards: Awards are granted to students according to a metric look at the number of students
provide by faculty during each academic calendar year effectively.
Student attendance date: Students development is all depended on number of times they have
given presence in school. The 90% marks in attendance during an academic year or semester is
vital to track.

Cost per student: The metric helps to calculate cost of school incurs to educate each student.
This will include maintenance of buildings, salaries, teacher and staff, books course and much
more.
Number of students enrolled: The metric is crucial for especially private schools who wish to
remain competitive (Alexander, 2015). This is also known as acceptance rate which helps to
keep tabs statistics with student body. Thus, it will help to offer right amount of resources
required to students.
Technology
Technology used: Technology plays a crucial role in classroom learning for students in terms of
providing various services and better learning environment. This will help to provide inclusive
learning.
Social media engagement: The metrics to analyse are often available at social media platforms
such as Facebook. This will show people that the department is working good towards future
success of students. This will also have an impact on other students in terms of their
development.

Do they mostly affect boys or girls?
Key performance indicator is a performance management and measurement system that
helps to determine how schools and teachers are working towards students success, department,
inclusive learning and allowing understanding right direction with strategy. There is no
difference between a girl or boy regarding KPI influences. KPI provide actual and current level
of performance given by students in semester or final year exams. The schools, colleges and
institutes are common for girls and boys that there is a similar impact on both regarding learning
and performance measurement techniques effectively. The results provided by students at the
end of year is a reflection of their studies and learning during the whole year under the staff and
management of school (Murga-Menoyo, 2014). Boys and girls both are responsible for their
individual results instead there is no fault involved from teachers and management.

teachers and management in order to increase their knowledge and skills. It is up to students that
who are able to gain their knowledge and skills regularly and effectively through this and who
are not (Murga-Menoyo, 2014). There are some certain factors which has an impact on boys and
girls learning effectiveness and difference in their performance level which are described a
below:
Attendance: 90% marks in attendance during an academic year or semester is vital to track.
Students both boys and girls development is all depended on number of times they have given
presence in school.
Brain: There are different kinds of students with various knowledge, skills and brain power.
Students who are concentrated toward learning are very effective in the final results. This the
KPI also shows different and higher results and achievements for them.
Grasping: Students grasping power is also different that they learn various things according to
their catching power to be successful in the future effectively.
Thus, the group of students age between 11-16 years old has a common impact of key
performance indicators. Their results may be different because of these certain factors towards
their learning.
What can affect why certain individuals are affected?
Certain individuals are affected by some certain elements such as environment of school,
learning effectiveness, teachers and management and other students (Ryan and Reid, 2015).
Students are affected due to the factors and facilities provided by management to them in order
to achieve inclusive learning and success in the future effectively. In addition to this, the
department is also responsible for students performance which also have an impact on certain
individuals effectively and efficiently. The performance of facilities in the school environment
also has a great impact on students learning performances. Certain individuals are also affected
with various factors such as management of staff and teachers qualification and learning style.

There are different types of management and learning styles managed by teachers to provide
better learning which is acquired by students according to their abilities.

What happens in the classroom
The key performance indicator has work to provide information regarding students
performance level on the basis of education which is provided to them during the whole year
effectively. Teachers and management effectively uses the KPI method which provides them
current and accurate information regarding students performance age group between 11 to 16
years old (Cherubini and Hodson, 2017). The results provide by KPI is different for each
students that some of them are doing well and some are not. This will have a great impact on
performance managed by students that teachers will make some necessary changes in their
techniques and strategies in order to improve and develop performance of weak students
effectively. The classroom sitting arrangements will be change that weak students will come in
front so that teachers can pay more attention to them. Others who are already concerned with
their studies and work will be treated same as before that they are not required extra efforts. This
will also change the learning environment for students and more attention will be paid to them.
According to the data and results provided by key performance indicator tools and
techniques, teachers are now able to identify students who are required extra efforts and attention
in order to side line them. Side line will help management and teachers to manage and control
their learning habits and power in order to make them successful towards inclusive learning like
others. This will also help to make strategies and plans for weak students in order to deliver
improvements and developments. Students who are weak at annual results will be treated more
patiently and effectively by management and teachers which will help them to achieve success.
Thus, it can be said that teachers also required to compromise their strategies and plans as
well s leadership styles in order to provide inclusive learning to students that helps to achieve
success in the future effectively. Teaching methods will be compromised by teachers according
to the performance level provided by students to make changes in learning methods to pay more
attention towards weak students (Gargiulo and Metcalf, 2017). This will also help to deliver
strategic planning within classroom in order to provide better learning environment and session.

Inclusive learning
Inclusive learning and teaching strategies refers to any number of teaching approaches
that address the needs of students within school or classroom with a variety of backgrounds,
learning styles, capabilities, effectiveness and abilities (Le Fevre and Robinson, 2015). These
strategies contribute to an overall inclusive learning environment, in which students feel equally
valued and achieve better learning environment as well as content from qualified teachers
effectively and efficiently. Inclusive learning will also help to provide regular practices regarding
maintaining learning environment which will help students to acquire new and better things that
are useful for them to become successful in the future.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above report that KPI focus on the overall performance of a

students that helps to increase knowledge and skills. This will also help them to become
successful in future so that they can acquire a lot of things in their lives.
