Introduction
The following assignment has been prepared to throw light into the business and
operational pressure of KFC, Australia in different perspectives. The report begins with a
short overview of the company and then briefly describes about the response of the company
to global induction and local business operations.
Overview of the Company
Kentucky Fried Chicken better known as KFC is a multinational American fast food
Restaurant that is famous for Fried Chicken. In Australia the subsidiary of KFC “Yum”
(kfc.com.au 2019), runs a total of 160 different outlets. On the other hand, KFC here is also
run by a public limited company named Collins Foods. There are more than 450 different
outlets with 12000 different staffs employed.
Response to Industry Pressure for global integration and local responsiveness
According to, Haley and Haley (2016) the KFC Company is one of the largest fast
food chains of the globe and therefore the company has been able to perform a global
integration for its varied range of products and has also been able to include some elements of
local choices to satisfy the local customers. The Zinger Pie which is one of the products in
Australia is not available in most of the other countries where the company operates
(kfc.com.au 2019).
Conclusion
The following report has been able to provide a brief overview of the competitive
responsiveness of KFC in Australia in relation to the pressure of the market.
