In my opinion, KFC always tries to hire those employees in its business
environment who has excellent skills and abilities. Top-level management of the
company always take various steps toward improving its existing performance in the
market with the support its skilled talented employees. That’s why it always tries to
maintain high performance and productivity of its employees (Holland, Cooper and
Sheehan, 2017). In KFC’s job description, HRM of the company has mentioned those
skills and competencies which company need in an employee. In this situation, after
reading job description of company, only those people apply for job who fulfils all
requirement of company which any specific job role. Currently human resource
department of company is too actual in its job role, because this department always
maintains performance criteria of their all employees. Nowadays, KFC has the large
number of employees who always put their huge efforts in the company’s daily
operation for improving its performance in within the international fast food industry.
Existing management of company has fully focused on managing performance of its
employees, because if company not properly manage its employees’ performance, then
it will be not able to improve its whole organisational performance in the market. That’s
why upper management of KFC not take performance factor lightly. Currently the
manage the management of company has given specially instructions to its HRM for
hire only such candidates in the company who has effective skills and proper knowledge
of fast food industry. Currently KFC’s major competitors also taking various steps
towards hiring some skills and talented employees in their daily operations. That why
existing management of KFC takes performance aspect of employees too seriously
(Yang and et.al., 2019). Company always hire skilled and talented employees in its daily
operation for gaining high competitive advantage within the global food industry. On the
basis of my experience, company always takes various steps for improving performance

of their existing employees. For example; human resource department of company
always invites different trainers within their business environment for proving some
specific training sessions to their employees. Basically, training sessions gives
opportunity to employees for improving their existing performance in the workplace.
According to KFC’s management, a business can improve its performance in the market
in only that condition, when it has high well-performed employees in its business
environment.
b) Development to skills
According to my experience, currently KFC has an effective workforce, but
employees has still required to improve some skills which play great role in the service
industry. In my opinion, existing employees of KFC should improve their communication
skills. Of course exiting communication skills its employees arte good but not much
effective. Currently customers always like to visit in such restaurant where existing
employees properly communicates with different customers. That’s why existing
management of KFC should turn their ordinary communication skill into extra-ordinary
skills (Reddy and Reddy, 2019). It means, top-level management of company should
take various productive decisions for improving or developing communication skills of
their all employees. The management of company should focus on improving
communication skills specially of those employees who always need to interact within
customers, like; waiters, servants, food delivery man, etc. Improvement within
communication skills of existing employees is too necessary task for this company,
because there are well-improved and well-developed communication skills always gives
opportunity to an employee for properly interacting within different customers within
KFC’s restaurant. That’s why effective communication skills within employees will play
great role to this company. on the other side, company will be able to gain large
customer base also by improving or developing communication skills of their
employees. Reason is, when any company’s employees communicate with a customer
in proper manner, then that customer always give, high priority to that company.
In my opinion, that person who wants to work in the KFC need to focus on improving its
communication skills. Reason is, HRM of the company always give high priority to that
always invites different trainers within their business environment for proving some
specific training sessions to their employees. Basically, training sessions gives
opportunity to employees for improving their existing performance in the workplace.

communication skills. Reason is, HRM of the company always give high priority to that

candidate who has extra-ordinary communication skills. Existing HR manager of the
company quick hire those employees in their business environment, because company
can’t serve the best services to different customer’s without effective communication
skills. Basically, KFC in a major part of service industry as well. that’s why there are
effective communication skills within highly required in its existing business
environment. According to my knowledge, KFC’s major competitors also using different
innovative strategies for developing or improving communication skills of their
employees. In this situation, top-level management of KFC should highly focus on
improving communication skills or abilities of their employees for gaining huge
competitive advantage in the global fast food in industry (Manaf and et.al., 2018).
Currently various techniques and strategies are available to company which can
contribute in improving performance of their employees. For example; company can
provide some specific training and coaching sessions to their employees for improving
performance of their employees. On the other side, different team leaders should teach
their all employees or team members about actual value of effective communication
skills. At the end, all existing employing of the company will be able to improve their
communication skills by these different practices of their management.
c) Skills development linked to positive appraisal
Yes, skills development is directly liked to positive appraisal. According to my
experience, top-level management of the KFC always give reward, promotion and
praises to those employees who has well-developed skills and talent. It promotes high
performers of the company on higher position in the workplace. Employees also feel
values by KFC, because of these practices of existing management. That’s why
different leaders within the company always encourage or motivate to their all
employees or team member for improving their different skills to get positive appraisal.
This is the main reason that, most employees of the company always try to develop
their different skills and abilities for getting positive appraisal (Allen, 2018). That’s why
here developed skills are completely linked to appraisal. In my opinion, existing
employees should put their huge efforts in the workplace, because different managers
and leaders of the company are always supervising performance levels of their different
employees. In this situation, if managers and leaders realise that, existing employees
company quick hire those employees in their business environment, because company
