King Faisal hospital has incorporated social and cultural diversification as can be
observed in their strategic plan. One of the key social aspects of therapeutic interventions
which the healthcare organization has considered is the factor pertaining to the age groups of
patient populations they are likely to cater to. King Faisal hospital has recognised the need to
provide old age benefits as well as healthcare services for the growing youth and young adult
population in the country. Such considerations are a necessity to every healthcare
organization since each social group has diverse health needs (Alderwick et al. 2018).
Further, cultural diversification of services were observed in King Faisal Hospital’s
recognition of the fact that not only must they ensure accessibility of their healthcare products
to the local community but must also expand the same to other parts of the country. To ensure
the same, the healthcare organization must keep in mind diverse ethnically needs of local as
well as other cultural communities, which will ensure customer satisfaction and long term
profits (Markey, Tilki and Taylor 2018).
In terms of interest it has been observed that the rate of interest in Saudi Arabia has
been relatively stable, which is a major disadvantage for healthcare organizations like King
Faisal Hospital to spend their financial resources and increase healthcare productivity (such
as oncological innovations) in terms of its strategic planning. This is because in the absence
of low rates of interest, there is increasing inflation, less demand for services, reduced
spending by organizations and individuals and hence reduced productivity in future
healthcare (Dieleman et al. 2013).
