Chapter 1: The Kingdom Life
1. The liberation theory believes in the preferential option for the poor. Unlike its
primary form, the taking of heaven by force of the violent completely disagree with
the liberation theory.
2. According to the book, every new birth can be notified as resurrection life. It is
believed that every human does not grow like vegetables. Our souls get birthed every
time after we die – ‘born from above’.
3. The world, the flesh and the devil is the three enemies of the soul. The three are the
sources of temptation. The world means to temp God through casting himself off the
pinnacle. The flesh means turning of the stones to bread. Also, the devil means to
worship the Satan.
4. In the early Church the concepts of gospels were the massages of the Christian itself.
Early churches were made within a few time after Christ’s death. The concept of
gospel changed in the second century1.
5. In the book Jesus said ‘without me you can do nothing’. It also applies to spiritual
formation. Christianity need to be present in various aspects of life. To induce
Christianity into life we need to achieve spiritual formation through the book.
