Report
AI Summary
This report provides a comprehensive analysis of risk and scope management strategies within the context of a kitchen refurbishment project. It begins by outlining project constraints, including safety risks, work quality, and resource limitations, setting the stage for a detailed discussion of risk management. The risk management strategy encompasses risk identification, mitigation strategies, and implementation, supported by a risk assessment matrix that evaluates the likelihood and impact of various risks. The report also explores scope management strategies, emphasizing the definition of needs, understanding project requirements, developing a project plan, and implementing the plan to align project activities with the final goal of kitchen renovation. A scope traceability matrix is included to track and manage project activities, ensuring alignment with the project's objectives. The report concludes by providing a bibliography of relevant sources used in the analysis.

1RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
1. Constraints
The project of kitchen refurbishment is developed for the implication of the improvement
of the existing kitchen for renovating the kitchen. The project would be based on the
development of the improved decor and furniture at the kitchen (Vanhoucke & Coelho, 2016).
The constraints of the project are safety risk in renovation, quality of the works, and resources
used for project.
Safety Risk: The kitchen comprises of many electrical equipments and tools and hence
there is a probability of occurrence of accident while working due to lack of attention. According
to Fattahi et al. (2016), the refurbishment project would involve a number of both light and
heavy weights activities. The risk of safety of the workers who would work at the site is the
primary constraint of the project.
Quality of work: The work quality and the expected deliverable from the refurbishment
of the kitchen would result in causing the major deliverance of the project. The client has some
expectations from the deliverable quality of the kitchen refurbishment. The project team has to
meet that quality and complete the refurbishment of the kitchen.
Resources of the Project: The resources used in the project must be implied successfully
and the integration of the project must be aligned for the deployment of the successful operation
integration (Fattahi et al., 2016). The alignment of the resources for the final deliverable of the
project would help in achievement of the project deliverable.
Work Constraints: The project of kitchen refurbishment would be highly responsible for
the development of the improved operations. The works required in kitchen refurbishment work

also as constraints such as the work done by the electrician, plumbing works, furniture works
including the window span, floor breakage, and structural support.
Hence these acts as the constraints of the project and it would also help in easing the
management of the operations. The project would be achieved by the development of the
successive and professional development model.
2. Risk Management Strategy
The risk management is helpful for the deployment of the successful and cohesive
deployment of the risk integration and analysis (McNeil, Frey & Embrechts, 2015). The analysis
of the risk factors would be helpful for the analysis of the operations and formation of the
strategies helpful for the development of the improved operations. The risk management for the
project of kitchen refurbishment is given below,
Risk identification: The identification of the risk factors would be helpful for the analysis
of the factors of risk and the development of understanding of the risk (Chance & Brooks, 2015).
The identification of the risk factors would help in forming the major development of the risk
analysis. The analysis of the risk factors would help in forming improved strategies for solving.
Risk Mitigation Strategy: The formation of the risk mitigation strategy would be helpful
for the deployment of the improved functional and operational development. As stated by
McNeil, Frey and Embrechts (2015), the mitigation strategy would be helpful for the formation
of the supplementary and operational development model. The mitigation of the risk strategy
would be helpful for the formation of the strategies that are helpful for the alignment of the
successive development.

Risk Implementation: The implementation of the risk mitigation strategies would be
helpful for the integration of the processes and formation of the improved development model.
According to Chance and Brooks (2015), the analysis would be helpful for the formation of the
successive and improved alignment methods. The implementation of the risk mitigation
strategies would be helpful for the formation of the improved operations.

4RISK MANAGEMENT STRATEGY
The scope management strategy would be helpful for the deployment of the operations
that would favour the alignment of the project activities with the final goal of the project (Pheng,
2018). The project of kitchen refurbishment is largely based on the alignment of the activities for
renovating and refurnishing the kitchen for renovating the kitchen. According to Corvello,
Javernick-Will and Ratta (2017), the refurbishment of the kitchen would help in improving the
looks and design of the kitchen and align the formation of the improved interior of the kitchen.
The scope management strategy for the project is,
Definition of needs: The first strategy of scope management is the identification of the
needs of project for kitchen refurbishment. The project comprise of some needs that would help
in achievement of the final project goal of renovation of the project.
Understand project needs: Pheng (2018) has stated that the understanding of the project
needs would help in listing the development of the final project goal. The impact on the needs
identified in the first phase of kitchen refurbishment would be done for ensuring that the project
is completed in the estimated time duration.
Development of Plan: The plan development would be helpful for listing the formation
of the deployment of the scope management strategies (Corvello, Javernick-Will & Ratta, 2017).
The development of the kitchen renovation project plan would help in overcoming the formation
of the scope integration management.
Implementation of Plan: The implementation of the plan would help in listing the
formation of the scope management and carrying out the project activities in alignment with the
project operations of plumbing, electric works, flooring, carpentry, and equipment handling.
