INTRODUCTION
Knowledge is a concept that is basically concerned with expertise, responsiveness and indulgent
about something such as evidence, ability and substance. Knowledge can be gained by an
individual in various different ways and through many resources including education, practice,
memory and so on. While creativity is a phenomenon in which something new and valuable has
been formulated by an individual (Rastgoo, P., 2017). It has been highly analysed that greater
amount of knowledge lead towards greater creativity at workspace and with the absence of
knowledge, no individual is able to create anything innovative at their working space.
This report will include the thoughts related to effective communication skills in context of
academic and professional aspect along with reflection according to individual performance,
behaviour and experiences in employment. Apart from this the study will also highlight various
resources for academic and employment purpose along with description about graduate
employment opportunities in future.

1. Effective communication skills in context of academic and professional aspects
Communication is an important part of everyone’s day to day life and is highly utilised in
various professions. It is basically a process of transfer of information between two individuals
with a motive to complete any task. The communication basically categorised into two categories
i.e. verbal and non-verbal. Acclimatize effectual communiqué skills by instructor are highly
important and must be getting hold of for teaching which is beneficial for the young learners.
With the help of communication skill the educator is able share their knowledge and views
effectively with each other. Young learners are not always succeed in verbalize their feeling in
words to their educators however, by observing the reactions of the students, the educator have
to properly transform those senses and problems into words and make necessary changes
accordingly. Teachers are major elements of child’s education, through which the liability lays
within highly accomplished teachers to become recognizable with successful announcement
reimbursement the premature apprentice. With the help of interactions with their teachers, the
learning children’s are able to learn the techniques through which they are able to transform and
share their views in most understandable and respectable manner (Akhtar, M.S., 2018). The
teacher must be able to interact with the young learners appropriately not only for the teaching

necessary information and knowledge to them in detail which will help them in their future
terms.
In order to create the process of educating young talents, teachers have to utilize various
aspects that will help them in order to transfer their knowledge in most appropriate manner. For
example, teacher will utilize audio and visual procedure such as images, symbols, body
languages, voice tone and listening ability which all are highly important in order to make the
communication most effective in nature. Verbal communication is generally referred as the most
appropriate kind of communication through which children are able to analyse and evaluate the
situations and their urgency with the tone of voice and listening ability of an individual. Tone of
voice is really vital while communicating with students as the students feel comfortable in front
if teachers who are polite in their behaviour as well as their speaking habits also able to attract
the attention of young learners. Paralleling the non verbal communication is equally important
for the children’s as it includes construction of formulation of sentences and ideas in written
format which are also important to take by learners in proper manner. An effective educator must
have the ability to frame the sentences in a way that is non-threatening to the children.
Successful statement not only is relevant for the children’s but also for the specialized people
affiliated to an early erudition situation which includes members of staff associate or illustrious
legislative body. Effective communication skills help to create the value of an individual at work
space. It includes listening to others, dealing with phone calls appropriately, encourage interests
in order to do interactions with everybody, expressing opinions on certain topics and being able
to change somebody's mind with their knowledge and skills efficiently (Limb, C.J., 2019). It also
helps in career progression as with this an individual is able to discuss problems and resolve
them in timely manner.
2. Reflection of performance, behaviour and experience in education
As a grown-up undergraduate with experience of this course, I felt that I had developed self
regulation which is highly important aspect in effective communication. Throughout the
complete course I was able to develop strength and confidence within me such as effective
communication, learning, team work and time management while doing any specific tasks.

organization. I felt positive about my spoken communiqué whereas I was worried about my
teaching skills as I was not that much brilliant student throughout my academics. From my
childhood I was very shy and reserve kind of student and thus I made mistakes and feel worried
while sharing my views in front of everyone. However, this course had helped me a lot in
making my reserve nature into complete change and makes me more comfortable in sharing my
reviews without any hesitation and fear about anybody (Kuo, Y.K., 2019). This course had
helped in order to recognize the importance of all aspects of verbal as well as non-verbal
communication which includes my body language, symbols, facial expressions, eye contact and
many others. It has shown me the importance of such expressions and their meaning in order to
share views efficiently. During my placement I continuously practice my communication skills
which enabled me to interact in more confident manner while giving interview test. And with
complete knowledge about addressing and observing facial expressions I got to know that the
person who are taking my interview are quite happy with my performance at the time of
interview. I was able to talk confidently in front of them and share my knowledge and creativity
in most appropriate way. From this, I have learnt that effective communication with both
mediums i.e. verbal and non-verbal helps greatly in order to achieve success in life. I consider
that the most excellent way of erudition is to turn out to be an independent beginner which in
itself requires good communiqué skills and regulation in personality. During this whole course, I
was able to expand good time organization abilities especially with meeting time limit of
everyday jobs and complete my coursework within proper timeframe. With efficient
communication skills I was able to complete my presentation appropriately which also shows
effective way if learning because it provides an opportunity to me to research about the topic and
then teach others as well. Thus, the complete study will encourage me to increase my abilities
and I would definitely like to continue building my knowledge and skills in order to sustain and
enhance my communication abilities in future.
3. Evaluation of resources for academic and employment related purposes
Nowadays, it has been evaluated that students have access to detailed information that they need
to collect in order to complete their research about specific topic and assignments within the
proper time frame and in proper manner. Any kind of resource i.e. print, human or electronic
which is utilized in order to support the research inquiry must be evaluated for its credibility and

reliability. For academic course work and employment related purposes it is best to utilize
scholar and professional resources that are reliable, accurate as well as valid in all aspects
(Dickens, K.N., 2019). Generally such resources include books and articles that are reviewed
before publication but also include multimedia and website from authoritative organization and
institutions. When the student have to conduct research about any particular topic or the
employer have to prepare detailed report about any assignment, they have to consider the
knowledge from any trust worthy resource which are able to provide appropriate knowledge in
terms of journals and articles. Articles are found in:
Academic journals: This publishes trustworthy research articles by university or
specialists in a well-organized manner. Scholars contribute to their investigation with
each other through the piece of writing which they have in print in these journals. This
is generally known as scholarly communication (Mannor, S., 2017). All the articles are
gone through meticulous review before going and accepted for final publication as
many researchers utilize the system called peer review system in which they are
evaluated by other experts who describes that assess their work in complete manner that
the work that has been completed are valid original and importantly fulfil all the
necessary aspects of the research topic.
Trade journals: Professional and employees in particular industry share their
experiences and knowledge with the help of getting information through various
journals and articles which are in the form of magazines and books that are generally

specifically able to provide complete and detailed advice to professional so that they are

efficient to use their creativity and knowledge in practical terms as well. According to current
scenario, it has been identified that few companies offer remote classes for graduates in order to
make them efficient enough while giving knowledge about practical situations with the help of
practical assignments and mentoring of senior people staff members in order to provide them
best of their support (Şentürk, C., 2021). With the help of all such activities, one can able to find
out about the skills that they need to highly required within them. Some common skills that are
highly required are commercial awareness, flexibility of working and well being organized in
order to complete the task in most appropriate and proper manner. In order to build certain skills
within them, the students have to think about their strengths and area of expertise in order to
complete their course along with practical knowledge within any organization. However, from
various studies it has been identified that the students just after completing their graduation
requires huge amount of skills and experiences in order to work within practical environment and
also requires special training within the office premises even after taking three years of
knowledge within similar field. Just after their completion of education, the students are less
engaged and serious about giving their 100% to the company and thus the firm have to provide
them efficient training sessions under the guidance of some seniors so that a sense of practically
doing work with proper responsibility has been generated within them and they are able to
complete their assignments in required manner within stipulated time frame (Turrubiates, M.L.,
2019).
