SUMMARY
The purpose of preparing E Portfolio is to do reflection of the course work. It gives
students knowledge of whatever has been taught to them throughout the course. It is a digital
collection which is created by student in which course related work like for example essays,
posters, videos and presentation are kept. It can also capture other activities of student like
employment history, extracurricular activities and more. By viewing the portfolio the
students get an idea about their strength and weaknesses and they can observe them and work
on to improve them. E portfolio records everything which is taught to them and it helps them
to revisit it and learn it when required (Černe and et. al., 2014).
Talking about my personal experience I have learnt lot of things from the portfolio.
My coursework have 12 classes. First class taught me about the reflective writing. The
teacher took the season about reflective writing and how it needs to be done and I related it
with academic business writing for my benefit. Second class teacher talks about the
importance of listening skill and how it help in reducing the noise, proper listening skills lead
to express the situation in best possible way. I learned the importance in listening the idea in a
proper way and using it to my advantage so that there is no deviation. In third coursework
teacher talks about skills required to conduct a proper and efficient business research. The
proper way to manage data and provide literature review was learnt by me under this
coursework.
Fourth coursework was all about mind mapping. I developed the skills of preparing a
diagram through mind mapping. It helped me to focus on various topic and get the knowledge
about them in a broader way. Teacher taught me about plagiarism in the 5th coursework. The
way how to avoid theft of others matter was learnt by me and I applied it on my personal
writing. In the 6the course the teacher told us about writing style and how to frame a sentence
in best possible way. It helped me to take my writing skills to another level. The 7th
framework taught me about usage of capital letters, it was basically the extension of the 6th
framework. 8th framework talks about the reading skills. It helped me to learn reading and
pronunciation skills and how it can help me at the time of presentation. 9th framework teacher
talks about presentation skills and various method was told to enhance and polish the
presentation skill, it was very useful for me. 10th course focused on avoiding grammatical
mistakes and using a right grammar while framing a sentence. 11the course was all about

creative thinking, which means thinking out of the box so that you have a creative mind to
bring in new and fresh idea. And the last class focused on importance of teamwork, how
proper coordination can help in achieving the goals of the organization on the given time.
Teamwork learning helped me to understand why it is important to be a team man and why it
is required, it taught me about strength in unity (Sigala and Chalkiti, 2015).
MAIN BODY
Work one- Reflective learning
In this piece of work students were taught about the academic learning and writing in
detail. The professors explained us certain examples on the basis of which academic writing
can be done in an effective manner by making proper use of sentences. This task helps me to
better prepare the module as I was supposed to analyse my experience and portrait it in an
effective manner. All the negative or positive experiences as well as skills were illustrated in
better manner and help me in getting the better direction for upcoming future.
Work two- Listening skill
It basically talks about the power and benefits of a good listener (Gilson and et. al.,
2013). The learner needs to listen to the topic properly so that they can understand it
thoroughly and implement those learning when the practical situation comes in front of the
learner. Listening skills helps in reducing the noise and better the listening skill, more the
learner can learn from the topic which is good for them at the time of executing an event.
Work three- Research skill
Research skills were described in this module as before carrying out the business or to
prepare any important decision it is essential for business to use their research and
development techniques in order to come up with better solution. I based on the skill come to
know about various topics associated with research like methods of data collection, use of
literature review in order to examine the view points of different authors. Further, research
methodology, use of question, observation and interview method in order to extract the
responses of respondent. This can probably help me in future to prepare projects
significantly.
Work four- Mind mapping

To make the education or course work interesting it is desirable to use mind mapping
method under which learner are taught with the help of the flowchart or diagrams that
illustrate the topics. This increases the retention power of an individual. I personally
experience it is as a desirable way to seek knowledge and provide me the glance of subject in
detail.
Work five- Referencing and avoiding the chances of plagiarism
In order to make the academic writing more authentic and desirable for the reader it is
essential to use proper references of the subject. Application of references helps to maintain
the loyalty and trust of viewers. During this piece of work I was supposed to work on the
referencing part but on the same time efforts were made to reduce the duplicate of data. For
this the dependency on other piece of work was reduced in order to neglect the existence of
plagiarism.
Work six-Help in construction of sentences
Although we in our regular life don’t pay much attention towards the construction of
sentences but during my course work I practiced to frame the proper sentences. Focus was
given on allocation of proper verbs, speeches and tenses in order to improve our writing as
well as oral communication skill. The teachers give us various reading material and provide
proper attention with the objective to improve the grammar and display out things in better
manner (Gong, Zhou and Chang, 2013).
Work seven- Proper use of capital letters
To enhance my writing skills during the course I was supposed to work on the proper
usage of capital letters. Although I knew that before names and places we are supposed to use
the capital letter but lack of practice at time leads to mistake. Our teachers during this course
find better way in order to improve the overall skills of students.
Work eight- Improving reading
The eighth coursework is about improving the reading habits to understand the
context in better manner and accordingly come up with better solution. Respected course was
full of techniques that help in reading out the large text in a shorter period of time by seeking
out all essential information which are required to understand the whole scenario. Regular

practice helps me to improve reading skill and carefully go through the context in shorter
period of time.
Work nine- Presentation
Presentation skill is a part of communication under which it is necessary for sender to
make other understand about the topic. During the time of this course I was asked to put
immense focus on the content, visual information, body language, voice modulation and
focus on gesture to effectively convey meaning through verbal or nonverbal communication.
Initially, I was afraid to put my views forward and handle the queries of audience but this
course work and repetitive practice has made me to become familiar with the presentation
skill for better future.
Work ten- Avoid grammatical mistakes
It basically talks about writing a sentence in a proper grammar. Avoiding basic
grammatical mistake will help in making report more professional. It will reduce the
deviation and it will tell the reader about the writer. Grammatical mistake should be avoided
while speaking also it makes the presentation more eye catching and meaningful.
Work eleven- Creative thinking
If the learner is doing their own business they need to think out of the box to get
competitive advantage (Yeh, Yeh and Chen, 2012). Creative thinking talks about that only.
The learning tells the learning to bring up new ideas and innovation and teaches them to be
expressive.
Work twelve- Team work
Teamwork isn’t essential skills that I understood during the course. Our teacher asked
to do certain task in a group so that we can understand the capability of one another and can
collaborate our efforts to reach out to the better result. Although they were conflicts in the
opinion and I experienced delay in decision making process full stop but on the regular basis
it helps in bringing better transition in our personal capabilities and working performances.
