INTRODUCTION
The most important focus of this assignment report is to identify and reflect on the
experiences learning obtained while preparing for achieving personal, academic and
professional success in university. With the help of this assessment, different aspects of
evidence will be considered for demonstrating different areas explored while preparing
for success at University. This report will explain various discussions that were
demonstrated during the preparation of success at University with the help of 12 points.
Evidence 1: VARK Learning Model

Summary
The VARK Learning model can be explained as a learning model that allows an
individual to improve and enhance the realities of studying with the help of different tools
and techniques. VARK is an abbreviation for visual, auditory, reading/writing and
kinaesthetic abilities of an individual to grab information, knowledge, and learning
around them (Mirza and Khurshid, 2020). These are mainly the embedded software in
the human body and brain that helps them to incorporate and gain new learning,
knowledge and skills. According to the questionnaire I have obtained the result as a

multimodal learner in kinaesthetic learning. Those who are classified as the multi-modal
learners have the ability to learn new things by different means which could be helpful in
gaining success at University.
Evidence 2: Reflection on my experience of learning
Throughout my years of academic practice, I have exercised on enhancing my
knowledge and skills and expanding my abilities to the greatest extent since the starting
so that I could achieve greater performance. Accuracy and diligence can be considered
as the most important factors for growth and success within the academics / University
(Semple, 2018). Since my childhood my parents have always focused on making me
habitual to studies and focused on my everyday learning, due to which I have developed
a priority for daily studies. Through the experience of learning I had understood that, as
students we need to develop knowledge and skills to get success which is a very
important aspect in the university. I would recommend that the students do not need to
study every day for lengthened hours. It is integral to devote a small part of a day to
focus on studying seriously to achieve desired results. As a student, I have identified
that it is integral to modify the assignments and works that I have already done. I have
developed this habit of revising and reviewing the completed chapters that was helpful
in preparing for the examinations by eliminating unnecessary pressure and wastage of
time.
Evidence 3: Reflection on my experience of learning
Cornell's method of taking notes is a highly effective technique for evaluating and
implementing different types of learning and note taking, consisting of recording videos
and auditory learning. I have understood that it is very important to analyse the best
style of learning through not taking so that performance can be improved. The note
taking is a very helpful activity that can help to organise and summarise the concepts in
organised formats so that learning can become easier (McGann, 2019). Note taking
helps the students to wisely write down the lessons and study materials in the form of

pointers with headings and sub headings including important content that could be
helpful in making the learning activities effective and efficient.

The references mentioned as an example of Harvard-style referencing. Harvard
style referencing is among the most commonly used references that provide the
stagnation, correct and adequate information of the authors, published dates and about
its content. This style of referencing is used mainly in the UK that supports the data
obtained by the students for their assignments or academic works, which supports its
authenticity and relevance. By using references and proper citations in the academic
work and assignments the reader can obtain the data if needed for the references
(Tulis, Steuer and Dresel, 2018).
Evidence 5: Summary of an article "machines to do half of all task
works by 2025"
The blog entails useful data on advancement of technology and science at the
workplace over the previous years. The blog consists of information and data on the
development of mechanical workplace design and modernization of robotics over the
upcoming years. It has been understood that technological advancements have
strengthened throughout the world due to the occurrence of Coronavirus pandemic. The
viral paranoia has largely lowered the ability of workers to interact with each other due
to the pandemic related rules, which led to the adoption of machinery within the
organisations to do most of the work over upcoming years till 2025. The use of artificial
intelligence has penetrated different organisations so that automatic functions can be
developed at the workplace (Bhowmik and Kim, 2018). Moreover, it demonstrated the

idea of using automated machinery and robotics to perform human tasks with more
effectiveness and efficiency that would low down the cost and increase demand
(Jackson and et. al., 2022). The importance of robots and automated machinery has
been identified in the pandemic duration that lowered the mechanical errors and
improved the production performance.
Evidence 6: Communication skills
Communication skills can be considered as the ability of an individual to interact with
others through various mediums such as verbal, nonverbal, sign and signal.
Communication is integral for learners and students to get success in their academics or
studies. Interaction and communication are required for every student irrespective of
their educational level so that they can develop and prosper better connections with
teachers, fellow mates and family members (Samerkhanova and et. al., 2022). I believe
that communication skills work beneficial for me to interact with my friends, tutors, and
professors effectively and efficiently. Due to this ability I was able to raise questions,
take part in discussions and express opinions and thoughts during the class.

Evidence 9: Presentation skills
The ability to present various aspects and demonstrate those aspects to the people
is very necessary for a student in University for achieving academic success. It helps
the beginners and learners to demonstrate and present their work to others in a
revolutionary form that attracts them (Bae and Darche, 2019). I was taught by my
English professor that it is very important to develop presentation skills like being very
clear and concise to the important facts that are presented in the work and being clear
and straightforward with the content and materials that are used. I have obtained that
while preparing the presentation or academic works to present in front of others the
specific materials and content must be used which should have specific length and a
picture that assist the requirements of the presentation in proper manner. Finally I have
obtained that it is important to supply good material and content along with specific
pictures relevant to the content for eye catching performance of the presentation.
Evidence 10: Knowledge Sharing
Knowledge sharing can be also explained as a collaborative learning style that has
allowed learners to actively engage in the discussion activities with the other students
(Lértora and Sullivan, 2019). I have obtained that the ideas and information that are

shared could enhance the ability to interpret and communicate with others along with
enhancing personal knowledge. This has enhanced my ability to prepare for
examinations and learn from others so that I can improve myself and my learning.

Summary
It can be obtained from the above titles that marketing and management
research have been understood and learned through the media available on YouTube. I
have come across various useful topics and videos about this on YouTube and it was
helpful to explore information and data from various videos that could be helpful in
enhancing the visual learning ability.
Evidence 12: Academic writing skills
Academic writing skills can be demonstrated as an approach for clear, concise and
accurate writing. It demonstrated that this is needed for providing a clear understanding
of the content. It has been explained that academic writing can provide better abilities of
understanding the text and writing effectively for the purpose of learning (Roy, 2019). I
have prepared myself for achieving battery scores and developing skills that can be
helpful in improving the chances of success in academics. With the help of online
search I have identified that complex vocabulary and jargon can lead to writing defects
and plagiarism that must be avoided.
Summary
Portfolio can be described as a document that consists of the summary of skills and
abilities that a person consists of. It cannot be overstated that the preparation of growth

and success in a specific field requires understanding of all the steps to achieve desired
results in a particular field. The purpose of this assessment is to demonstrate my skills
and capability to improve and realise various areas and different aspects of evidence
that are considered in the portfolio. I have given evidence from various places that
demonstrate different aspects of my learning from many sources. Abilities of learning
were developed by me by actively including various evidence pieces in my academic
works that could help in future referencing. I understood various factors that an
individual should possess for craving better understanding and enabling different
learning styles with the help of a questionnaire about the VARK Learning model.
Secondly I demonstrated the abilities and experience of my learning through evaluation
and identification of my progress throughout the process of learning. The resources
were highly used because they were of great help as a motivational factor to achieve
success. Note taking methods in different ways and identifying the best possible note
taking practice with the help of Cornell's method for note taking was helpful. In the 4th
evidence I have identified the use of Harvard referencing style which can be helpful to
develop authentic academic writing and assessments that could be accurate and
provides further referencing to the tutors with the help of adequate citations that are
integral within academic writing. The summary of the article was demonstrated in the
fifth evidence and based on the evidence further; many styles of summarising huge
contents were understood. I also examined that communication skills are very
necessary for improving the interaction abilities with the tutors, fellow mates and family
members so that better understanding and learning can be developed. I have gradually
mastered the ability to communicate in an effective and efficient manner because of
which I was able to interact with the teachers and professors and develop clarity and
better information. Finally this helped me to improve my ability to learn and share
experience and knowledge with others that is integral in achieving success in University.
I also have developed PPT that helps me to evaluate the objectives that I need to fulfil
within a given time frame to achieve desired results. From this I have shifted to the
personal short that was helpful to identify my strengths and weaknesses along with
opportunities and threats that could occur during my preparation for success. With the
help of University learning materials and from the support that I obtained through

YouTube videos is helpful to acquire knowledge and improve my learning abilities to
prepare for success in university. The final evidence that consisted of presentation skills
was integral for demonstrating my work to classmates, teachers as well as unknown
people with proper understanding and clarity.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above report that students need to develop precise
goals that they want to achieve through their preparation for academic growth and
success. It has been demonstrated that it is important that an individual should focus on
their research for achieving positive outcomes in their assessment. It has demonstrated
that an individual can obtain a variety of skills to get success in university and improve
chances of growth in future.
