INTRODUCTION
The study we do in schools and universities with the aim of getting knowledge and be literate
for future. The basic things we learn are the development of personal and professional skills it
include the factors like training courses, development program, online lessons etc. these
techniques are not only used in universities even these are used in the organisations too. So that
the employees can keep updating through training programmes(Foley and Gibbs, 2019). This
essay will cover the self reflection of mine the learning I have got during study in university and
how I overcome through my weaknesses. further it will include Gibbs cycle through this model
the self assessment will be done that will tell about my skills and weaknesses.
MAIN BODY
While writing a self reflection the most famous method is used that is Gibbs cycle, it is the
technique which help in continuous assessment of self and improvement of personal skills by
time. It consist a six stages which makes it useful model for practician courses but some find
them prescriptive. I am studying in university studying a diploma course of two years related to
computer and technical study during training I have many things that will be useful for me in
future and I have learned a lot from these models and trainings(Rolfe and Freshwater, 2020). The
all six stages are described below.
1. Description- I was studying in university at UK the course of computer and technology.
I was there to learn new things as I am found of learning new things and like to surfing
new things through technology or by conversing other but I m not so good in convey my
thoughts to audience or listeners. This factor include the description of things like what
and when. I got a new friends while studying. I have learned various things that is
helpful for me to improve my weaknesses and overcome my fear and I feel confident
while presenting myself in front of audience. I am pleased that I got a good mentors and
guidance through them while assessment.
2. Feelings – this section include the experience I have got during the program. In first 2 or
3 weeks I was not feeling good or feeling bored because I am bad at communicating
others. After few days I started involving with the mates in class and we started
discussing on topics studying together like group study and working on projects. Now
things are getting comfortable for me. I have good friends and some of them are like

on it because I have to think before saying anything to anyone. I personally feel like
everything is new for me.
3. Evaluation- this section determine the positive and negative points that I have got
during assessment. That positive things I have experienced are the working in team and
sharing the view point in front f public(Gibbs, 2019). and i have learned technical study
like advanced computer skills like maintaining data and creating presentations and
designing the posters. I feel happy in doing these all activities because I like to do
creative things. The negative things I have experienced are sometimes I disagree at some
point in team or project during the task got from university, because the teammates have
different point f views some times I got rough in studying In team. I have faced the
issues like sometimes I have of resources such as study material or issue in taking a
online classes because of network I have missed most of classes.
4. Analysis- this section explain the theory in broad way the experiences got during the
learning lessons. The things go well because I kept improving in on my drawbacks and
weaknesses which reduces my positiveness of doing task by trying 100 percent of me.
Some times I got nervous due to my shy nature and less communicative skills(Barbu
and Zhu, 2020). I have improved my thinking skills and communicative skills through
my assessment. The things that help me in learnings are the guidance I have got and
motivation which I have got from teachers and mates they always push me to do better
and helped in providing resources like study notes and books etc.

independent decision maker and stable too. The things I got from lessons and model will

presentation and maintaining the data and languages of computer, the advance
technology of computers . I have done a graphic designing it was nice experience I
have got while doing that . I was memorable experience for me to do something new out
of my course. During learnings their was a cultural event held in university, I took part
in play that time I feel nervous but through this I got confidence of speaking in front of
