The present study focuses on ways through which motivations creates impact on the
workers of the company i.e. Alitalia Airline. As an entity implemented various motivational
ways within working environment then knowledge management practices enhance in positive or
profitable direction. Procedure of creating, sharing, implementing or using as well as managing
information of an entity is identified as the knowledge management. It is one of the best method
of achieving objectives of Airline company in an effective way (Jasemi and Piri, 2012). As the
Alitalia's HR manager applied effective monetary and non-monetary motivational tools within
workplace then workforce will be able to utilise resources in the best manner. Therefore,
knowledge management practices influenced favourably.
However, on the basis of employee motivations other areas also can be studied in future
which impact on business efficiency, profitability, virtual organisations, company’s performance
in airline industry etc. In present study, virtual firms are considered that in which ways employee
motivation affected to them. An unfeasible entity which works indirectly with the company
which is physically located, considered as the virtual organisation. When the management of
Alitalia Airline enterprise motivates its employees with the help of various techniques then able
to enhance performance of virtual firms. In addition to this, the company can motivate
employees of virtual organisations with the help of some effective strategies. Such methods
include providing positive feedbacks, recognising employees, communicate frequently, offer
opportunities to grow, establish effective systems etc (Hainstock, 2017). Once the above
mentioned strategies are to be considered by Alitalia Airline's HR manager then its workforce
will motivate effectively.
