Introduction
The knowledge management system is mainly used by the authorities of an organisation in order
to improve their data management process. In addition, the knowledge management process also
helps the business managers of an organisation to retrieve the knowledge process that would be
helpful for enhancing the KM process [1]. Therefore, the aim of this report is to evaluate the
knowledge management and organisational learning process. This paper will also shed light on
the importance of knowledge management systems. Moreover, this report will also highlight the
strategies of knowledge management system. Furthermore, this paper will also highlight the
research methods that have been used by the researcher.
Intention and content of the article
Importance Knowledge management systems
The main purpose of using the knowledge management system is to share valuable ideas and
information to the business managers by which they can make vital decisions for the
organisation. A business organisation mainly uses various types of knowledge management
system in order to improve the organisational business process. It has been identified that there
are several types of knowledge management systems such as internet based system, electronic
document management, knowledge map systems and innovation support tools [2].
Internet based system- The internet based system is mainly associated with the
knowledge management process. The main reason for using the internet based system is
to connect the knowledge process with the online database of an organisation. This will
also help the organisation to facilitate the relevant information that will be required for
the purpose of sharing knowledge [3]. In addition, the internet based system also helps
the business organisations to develop new concepts for the organisation by which the
firm can gather relevant information from the business market. Therefore, it can be said
that the internet based system is one of the potential systems for transferring knowledge.
Electronic document management- The electronic document system will also help the
business managers of an organisation to present an explicit management system.
