Introduction –
This assignment shows an overview of the process of knowledge management and also defines
the technique of group decision making. Knowledge management (KM) is a process of
managing, creating, and sharing the data and knowledge of the business. A policy of knowledge
management for an organization is to describe the plan in which a company will manage the
knowledge and information better and also it provides the benefits for its employees as well as
stakeholders.

In this brainstorming technique, the problem is that in the large companies where personal worth
or growth of the employee is very low. In the companies, employees feel that an organization
does not provide them to be more creative and productive and also, they feel that any reward is
not provided by the company for their performance.
Solution
To solve this problem in which a company should provide rewards for the employee’s worth and
observation of personal growth or worth by devoting in employee many programs and also keep
the open conversation with their employees and also providing extra in training. An organization
also should provide paid for vacations and inspire their employees to be free form stress and also
encourage their employees to struggle for success. Company help for their employees in growing
the self-confidence of the workers or employees to increase the performance because personal
worth perception is elevated. There are three techniques are also used for increasing the personal
growth or worth of perception for the employees in which brainstorming technique, consensus
decision, and nominal group technique are included.
Brainstorm technique – It is a process of decision making of the group and also it is used to solve
many problems that are related to an organization. In this technique, the main focus on
employee’s creativity in which company provides award for employee efforts and also focuses
on the salary process and increases the growth of employees. This technique is used to inspire
the employees in which employees can bring up their latest and innovative ideas and can
improve the performance of the department as well as company (El Bedawy, 2018).
Consensus decision – This technique is also used to solve many problems that are related to an
organization. It is also a decision making of group members in which all the design processes are
developed by the group member. This technique is used to focus on the performance of the
employees and also focus on communication process in which employees can easily
communicate with other employees and participants. A consensus decision is also a process in
which social activity is included and it is the best approach for creating a group and making a
decision process with the group member. With the help of these techniques, members of the
group can easily remove their stress and get a good environment.
Normal group technique – This technique is used to focus on designing part and structure of an
organization and also it is used for dividing the group member into small group members. The
normal group technique provides information about qualitative and quantitative and also
provides many approaches to many methods. This technique is also useful to identify the
probable solution of the problem and give the permission of group members to organize that
solution. Normal group technique is the process of designing in which it confirms that each
member of group has equal contribution in the group decision making (Gao, 2018).

Form these two types of potential developers, second is the more attractive and important
approach compared with the first one from my opinion because second approach or developer
process is based on the communication process and also analytical skill development process.
For a knowledge management system, most important requirement process is skills and
communication technology in which this technology provides many key elements related to this
approach of user-friendly and also describe the examination methods and rules of the process of
knowledge management in which people can be accomplished with this skills and programming
technology. In the developer of potential, knowledge is considered as a bare algorithm so in my
opinion second developer of a potential approach is better than one developer of potential.

Stage 1: Advocate and learn
For implementing the system of knowledge management, this stage advocate and learn
is used for an organization in which to learn and identify the overview process of
knowledge management system. This stage is used to introduce the process of
knowledge management of an organization and also identify the team members and
focal points of the knowledge management for an organization. this stage is also used to
identify the advocate of knowledge management and also support the wide range of
knowledge management initiatives.
Stage 2: Develop a strategy
Develop strategy is included in the second stage of knowledge management
implementing process. This stage is used three activities for implementing the failure of
knowledge management process. The first activity is to form or procedure a task of the
pilots for implementing knowledge management. The second activity is to choose the
pilots carefully and the third or last activity of this stage is to classify and assign the
resources for supporting the pilots. These all three activities are used in this stage and
also it is used to implement the failure of KM initiatives for a company.
Stage 3: Design and launch KM initiatives
This stage is also used in the knowledge management system in which also three
activities are used for implementing. The first activity is to save the money for funding
the projects of pilot. The second activity is to progress the methodologies of knowledge
management system and also combine the knowledge for the providers and users in an
organization. the third and final activity of this stage is to collect and record all the
lesson which is related to an organization in which knowledge process can save for
future.
Stage 4: Expand and support initiatives
This stage support and expand the KM initiatives that are used in an organization for
executing the knowledge management system. Three activities are also used in this
stage in which first activity is to progress the policy of expansion of an organization.
The second activity of this phase is that to communicate the users as well as marketing
the policy of knowledge management so that users can aware of many strategies or
policy which is related to the knowledge management of an organization. third and
final activity of this phase is to manage and achieve the growth of a knowledge
management system for a company (Gunjal, 2019).

Stage 5: Institutionalize knowledge management
The step of this phage is also used to implement the failure of knowledge management
in an organization in which six activities are defined. The first activity is to embed
knowledge management for the model of business and also it is useful to gain the
support of CEO and senior executive of the business. The second activity of this phase
is to rearrange the process of budget and also set the structure of an organization in
order with the policy of knowledge management. A third activity is to assess and
display the health procedure of the system of knowledge management. The fourth
activity is to stable the framework of knowledge management of an organization with
local control. The fifth activity of this phase is to bring the strategy of performance and
provide rewards with the policy of knowledge management. Six and final activity of
this phase is to continue the knowledge management journey of an organization.

This report is defined as the knowledge management process and system in which many
techniques are defined such as normal group technique, brainstorming technique, and consensus
decision making for implementing the process of knowledge management system. In this report,
also defined the overview of knowledge management and also two potential developers’
approach. This report shows many stages or phases of implementing the failure of knowledge
management.
