In the report, the brainstorm topic is discussed and how can be rewarded the employee for their
effort and contribution to the company with the brainstorm guidelines. The knowledge
management is a very important part for the company from this all the work and management
can be done in easy going.

Brainstorm: Brainstorm is creativity and innovative technique in which the effort is to create or
made to find a solution for a particular problem by collecting multiple lists of ideas from the
members of any organization of any field.
Brainstorm is used because as per the knowledge, the business challenges are complex, and these
challenges require new solution. For this, the company has to go beyond its comfort zone and
come up with new or innovative ideas.
For conducting a brainstorming session, there are many keys that are useful for conducting a
session of brainstorm. They are the following:
It is not a serious session which requires an only serious solution, so this a fun tool of
quality so every member of group should be involved.
This session is not a debate, and discussion for one person, so don’t criticize other
people's ideas.
In this session, the company wants better ideas, not quantity ideas. This means quality is
higher than the quantity.
In Large companies, the employee complained that they did not any reward for their effort and
contribution. To solve this problem by brainstorm. The brainstorming helps the company to
reward the effort and increase employee worth by open communication means all have the right
to say anything regarding the company and invest more and more in-company training. the
incentives also encourage the employee to do more work and to push for success. The incentive
can be such as award, increase the salary, giving them to holidays. As per the research, the
simple program such as gifts, trips have more potential to increase performance, which is directly
related to employee higher personal worth.

Nominal Group technique: the NGT(nominal group technique) is a form of brainstorming. The
nominal group technique is used to organize the meeting of the member to facilitate the decision
making in which to identify the proper problem and find a solution. With the use of this
technique, the group member is allowed to solve the problem of the company. This technique is a
process in which it ensures that every group member has an equal contribution and effort to the
decision making of the group.

Consensus decision making: consensus decision making is a creative way of taking agreement
between all of the group members. Instead of voting for a product, a group using consensus is set

because the development process depends on the communication skills or process. For the
system of knowledge management, most important and required skills are the communication
process. With communication can be benefit for user-friendly nature and behavior which is good
for the company. In the second approach, if the generalist has all the feature such as he is user-
friendly and have good communication skills and also knowledge have development process
than it can be very useful for developing process, so communication technology plays an
important role in the development process. So, the second approach is good as compared to first.

Knowledge management: knowledge management is a process that is used to develop
informational assets. Knowledge management is same as information management. There are
many types of jobs that are related to the knowledge manager. Such as chief knowledge officers
and chief learning officers. Knowledge managers are those who make knowledge management
successful. There is much organization who are looking for the knowledge manager is IBM and
much more organization. Knowledge manager has all the knowledge regarding the organization
ad have enough power to do any action in the particular organization and take any decision that’s
why many organization are looking for knowledge management.

Advocate and learn: For established the system of knowledge management, this stage is
used in the company in which to look at the overview of the process of the system of
knowledge management. This stage is focus on them to introduce the method and process of
knowledge management of a company and also find that who is team members and this
advocate and learn stage is also used to identify the advocate of the management of
knowledge and also support them to easiest way to establish the knowledge management
system in the organization.
Develop a strategy: this is a second stage of implementing knowledge management. This is
used three types of activities for failure of KM. The first activity is all about to procedure the
task of the pilot for established knowledge management. While second activity is used to
select the pilot carefully which has enough knowledge regarding knowledge management.
And the third activity is used to assign and classify the sources which are required for the
pilot to support the pilot. These three activities are classified into this stage and this stage is
used to identify the failure of implementing the KM.
To develop the strategy, the company should take care of the following keys:
1) From making the strategy, it can be used to increase the profit.

2) The strategy should be appropriate for gaining market share.
3) The management should be done under the budget.
Design and launch KM initiatives: This stage is also used for implementing knowledge
management in the organization. This stage also has three activities that follow. The first
activity is used to save the cost of funding projects of the pilot. The second activity is
used for process the methodology of KM and this activity also combine the knowledge of
the user and providers in the organization. The last activity is used for collecting the
record of the organization for future security.
Expand and support initiative: This stage is used for executing the system of
knowledge management. In this also three activities are defined. The first activity is used
to progress the terms and condition policies of the organization. The second activity of
this stage is used to communicate with the people or also marketing the knowledge
management strategy from this the people can aware of this strategy which is related to
the system of knowledge management. The final activity is used to manage the revenue
and growth of the KM system of an organization.
Institutionalize knowledge management: This stage is also used to implement the
failure of the knowledge management system of an organization. These six activities are
classified which are the following: the first activity is to merge the knowledge of business
and the second activity is used to control the budget and rearrange the process of cost or
budget. The third activity is used to show the health procedure of knowledge
management. The fourth activity is used to fix the framework of the organization. The
fifth activity of this phase is to make a strategy of performance. the sixth and last activity
is used to continue the process of knowledge management.

techniques are defied such as nominal group, consensus decision making, and brainstorming
technique. The report also describes an overview of the system of knowledge management. To
implement the failure of KM there are many stages that are also defined in this report.
