Introduction
The process of Knowledge Management is the process which is followed by the organization
which helps in the management of the knowledge assets so that strategy can be developed values
in the organization and help in meeting the requirement. KM includes strategies, procedures,
objectives and systems. The process of Knowledge Management includes the following:
Detection & Discovery, Organization, Sharing, Reuse, Creation and Acquisition.
The following task is divided into three activities. First activity helps in discussing the solution to
Personal Worth problem. Second Activity helps in codifying the frame for the given subject.
Third Activity helps in deciding the best approach for the KM process.

Activity 4.2
Part a – Brainstorm technique
An employee in large companies faces the problem of no rewards and performance appraisal for
putting their maximum efforts and creativity. This problem is generally referred to as Personal
Worth perception Problem. This Brainstorming solution helps in listing and gathering various
solutions from the distinct employee of the organization due to this complex nature of business
model and problems. This technique has helped in providing the personal growth of the
environment as well as the development of the (Liebowit and Frank, 2016) organization. This
technique has helped in creating and finding the best solution while conducting the group –
discussion. This solution helps in providing satisfaction to the employee by providing rewards
and appraisal. Apart from increasing the pay, the different reward system which can be
implemented in the organization is appraisals, appreciations and gift hampers for their
achievements. The other benefits which can also be provided may be incentives, holiday trips,
various electronic gift and gadgets. It is noticed that providing such things help in maintaining
the performance matrix of the employee in the organization.
Part b – Nominal Group technique
It is also known with the name as NGT is brainstorming technology. The procedure which is
followed in these techniques is all the experts of the organization is considered as the nominal
group and then discusses the individual perspective to arrive at the best solution. This technique
has helped in providing equal opportunity to every member in making a crucial decision for the
organization. By this solution procedure, the particular design and structure of the organization
work. The main advantage of this technique is it helps in the (Nonaka and Toyama, 2015)
highlighting the design part as well as organizing the problem such that a particular solution can
be achieved. Nominal as the name suggests, considers every employee to be equal and helps in
giving equal opportunity. NGT also details the employee about the organization objective and
their role in the development and growth of the company. It divides the members in the small
chunks and applies both qualitative as well as quantitative analysis approach.
Part c – Consensus Decision Making
It is also one of the solutions which are adopted by the many organization to solve the problem
of Employee Personal Problem. It is the approach which helps to arrive at a collective decision
which is taken by all the group members. This approach is based on an efficient communication
development plan. This procedure follows the multiple activities which are conducted in the
organization to understand the problem faced in the organization. This technique gives emphases
on the performance and the communication methodology which is followed by the employee. It
is considered as the best approach by avoiding the voting procedure and taking the decision in
the group. The various advantages of this technique are that it helps in creating and building a
friendly environment which can help the employee in stress removal. It also helps in fulfilling

Activity 5.2
Among the two approaches provided the second one is effective because of the qualitative and
skills mentioned in the second potential developer. For successfully implementing the KM
process it is very necessary to develop the skills as well as a qualitative communication plan. It
the potential developer as the required skill set then it may help an organization to grow as well
as help employee to grow. Hence the second approach is the effective one.

Activity 7.1
The five main phases which are involved in the implementation of Project Management are as
follows:
Advocacy and Learn - It is the first phase which helps in understanding the requirement of an
organization. It also helps in identifying the different resources available for the successful
implementation of the strategy involved in the KM process. Before putting any strategy into
action, it is very necessary to develop a clear objective and team which can help in achieving
the desired result. This step helps to detect the advocacy for the KM.
Developing Strategy – It is a step which aims at building an effective strategy. The different
course of action which is applied in this approach is as (Donate and de Pablo, 2015) follows:
the First action aims at creating the project pilots for the efficient strategy. The second course
of actions helps in building the team which can implement the strategy. The third action
helps in identifying the resources and budget which are made available for the member
involved. Applying this action will result in reducing the risk as well as errors and hence
increase productivity.
Design & Launch of initiatives – It is the step which after creating the strategy, is
implemented and launched in the overall organization. This step follows basically three
levels which help in creating a significant design. First level help in reducing the cost of the
pilot project and help in reducing the investment for the newly launched initiatives. This
strategy also helps in maintaining the overall budget of the (North and Kumta, 2018)
organization. Second level help in developing the methodology and help in unifying the
employee knowledge. The third action helps in considering and gathering the record for
future use.
Expand & Support for the KM strategy - This stage help in expanding the strategy with the
overall models used in the business process. The three steps which are followed in this are:
First, it gives the introduction to the overall policies and terms condition which are involved
in the organization. The second phase gives the details of the policies implied and spread the
information in the overall enterprise and among the employee. Third step help in finding the
impact of the strategy which is applied to the organization and record the growth and
progress of the organization. This step also involves the management and controlling of the
KM system.
Institutionalize KM – This phase gives the solution to solve the problem of failure of KM
implementation. The six effective phase involvement in this phase are as follows: Integrating
and incorporating the business model and strategy. The second level helps in aligning the
different budget procedure and give inclination to the (Nonaka and Toyama, 2015) structure
of policy applied. The third task helps in maintain the health condition of the policy. The
fourth task help in giving the control management framework for the policy. The fifth
procedure gives the reward and performance management policy to the organization. The last

Conclusion
The overall report has helped in enhancing the importance of Knowledge management in the
organization. The report has discussed the various types of solution like Census Decision
Making, Brainstorming and Nominal Group. The report also helps in providing an overview of
the System which is utilized in Knowledge Management. It also discusses the five important
stages which is required while implementing the strategy of KM. The report aims at delivering
the two approaches which help in identifying the skills and quality of the individual. Hence it can
be concluded that all this point has helped to arrive at desired results.
